I have it on my 2nd gen Nexus 7. It's nice, not a huge improvement, though. Verizon is slower than Christmas at rolling out Android updates. Maybe next year I'll be able to get it on my Droid Turbo....
Once called my brother in law said he will come pick him up to go to the LSU football game. A thirteen year old boy is standing by the door all day waiting for his "dad" to pick him up. Halftime that little boy is still waiting at the door. He looks at me "my dad isn't coming is he?" No buddy...

re: Interested in flying in a few years - just1dawg
Back in the 1980s when ultralights were popular my grandfather built two from kits. They were each powered by a pair of chainsaw motors (driving one prop) that had a TBO of about 50 hours. Pasture flying is a lot of fun--buzz the cows to get them to move so you can land and having to pull up to avoi...

I forgot to add that you can try things out before you buy them via renting from lensrentals.com in Memphis. I highly recommend them. [link=(http://www.lensrentals.com/rent/nikon/lenses/telephoto)]http://www.lensrentals.com/rent/nikon/lenses/telephoto[/link]...

re: Need Nikon Camera Lens Recs - just1dawg
The Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 is a fantastic lens. I have one and highly recommend it. $800 new. If that's too much get the Nikon 35 f/1.8. It's not particularly wide but it's $200 and optically excellent. Plus it's small and light (the 18-35 definitely isn't). 300mm is tougher. The Nikon 70-300VR isn't ...

re: Franz Josef Glacier Heli Hike, New Zealand (Pics) - just1dawg
New Zealand does a great job with scenic overlooks. I've never landed on a glacier. In 2009 when we were on the South Island we chose to overfly the mountains in a plane because you get to see more than if you just do one glacier (which in NZ they all pronounce "glay-sere"). Last year my mother l...

This is Franz Josef the day we were there. I think Hawea is even more beautiful than Wakatipu. The drive down Highway 6 between Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea is stunning (this is how you'd get from Franz Josef Glacier to Wanaka). It's my favorite drive in...
