How common/uncommon is it to have a standard rebuilt? I've known a few people who had to replace the clutch but no one who ever had to have extensive work done on a manual....

If you're taller than 5'8 or so pay extra for the extra legroom seats. Also know that Spirit charges for EVERYTHING. They're cheap, though, and consistently profitable....

Supercruise is old hat for commercial airliners--Concorde did it at M2.02 without reheat (the Tu-144 needed afterburners all the time because its engines were much less efficient).
It was only with the F-22 that "supercruise" really seemed like a new thing. It wasn't, it was just new for American...
