I would take the job plus pick up 2-3 shifts during the week there or at another hospital for a year or two to pile some money away. Depends on where she is at in her life I guess. ...

529 Plan to pay for PMBA School - LSUTOM07
Is a 529 plan an option to help pay for PMBA school? Is it correct that contributions are tax exempt? I will be starting school this month, but I would like to take advantage of the savings plan if possible. This is in Georgia FWIW...

re: Has anyone graduated from school, started working - LSUTOM07
The construction test won't make you an engineer though right? That seems no different to me than the PMP certificate. I may take the PE if I can sit for it in a few year but I'm not working towards it if that makes any sense. ...

re: Has anyone graduated from school, started working - LSUTOM07
Why no PE
I'm not working directly under a licensed engineer. I could probably swing it if I needed to to sit for the exam. The PE would be fairly useless for me without work experience in design. Even if I got it I would not have the confidence to put my stamp on anything ...

Graduated in civil and knew I was going to hate it from my internships. Got a job out of school as a project engineer for a large company and I love it. Travel in 20-30% so it gets me out of the office. No plans to get a PE. ...

re: MT: Keeping The Course - LSUTOM07
The S.O. and I are just starting out (both 23) so it seems like it will be an uphill climb for the next few years. She has $24k is student loans left to pay. We are currently paying them down at $2k per month. I will have $38K to pay down in the next 23 months as I start PMBA school in a few weeks. ...

I am interested in what the MB has to say about this. I have been looking to capitalize in Greece. I have been tracking companies over the past year, but I have a very hard time valuating companies that I am not familiar with. National Bank of Greece is one that I believe offers huge upside long...
