| Tiger Rant|| re: Les Miles demeanor today - Thoughts? - bdnc on 9/29/14 at 9:44 pm|
Miles stood there blaming the so-and-so fans who booed Jennings, “Boo me” he said, but that’s exactly what the fans were doing. Fans are frustrated with the goddam antiquated offensive scheme and the obvious change needed at QB and thus they were booing Miles not Jennings. His sour grapes were tot...

Bert Jones was very highly touted. Few had the kind of zip on the ball that Jones had. LSU had some good ones but Risher and Hodson never had the big arms. Jones, Mettenberger, and now Harris have, i guess you could say, professional arms with high velocity. ...

The point spread may go up to 12-13
You’re right my friend. Had Harris been the QB for the Wis and MS games, LSU would have a better chance. But he’s only had 3/4 of real game experience. Sometime later in the year when ...
| Tiger Rant|| re: Official LSU v Auburn Prediction Thread - bdnc on 9/28/14 at 2:56 pm|
Had Miles anointed Harris after the spring game when Jennings looked like shit, Harris would have been given the majority of practice snap, had playing experience against Wis and MS. But no, Harris only has 3/4 experience against a weak team. Harris and LSU will be in better shape when they play l...

| Tiger Rant|| Harris support by players was OBVIOUS - bdnc on 9/28/14 at 5:53 am|
The players support for Harris was so obvious. The line, the running backs, and the receivers were all in for Harris. It was as if the players wanted the change and the only way they could make it happen, was to do it themselves. Maybe that’s a stretch, but it sure looked that way. ...

What concerns me more than the SPEAD and QB is the execution, even in the past this team has been plagued by illegal procedures and early time outs. Offensive plays are easily disrupted as the execution is poor. A lot of that may be attributed to Jennings but you wonder what the hell they practice ...
| Tiger Rant|| re: how does this problem get solved? - bdnc on 9/26/14 at 2:40 pm|
LSU is headed for mediocrity in the SEC west. I don't think it's that far-fetched to see them last in the west this year, considering they have to go to Arkansas. Next year, Harris wil be in better shape to lead the team but the defense will take awhile to rebuild. The offensive philosophy has to c...

This only postpones the inevitable. If Jennings performs well, what will that prove? Nothing, he's had his chance, give the ball to Harris and let him develop. Stupid is as stupid does ......

| Tiger Rant|| re: "Eye of the Tiger" has been lost - bdnc on 9/23/14 at 3:40 pm|
I beg to differ. Tiger fans are not leaving because they are spoiled. They are leaving because they are bored to death. Typically, LSU is winning, but instead of passing and making the game fun for the fans, Miles instead prefers to run up the gut on Sam Houston and ULM. Who in the world wants t...
| Tiger Rant|| re: Les Miles vs. Charlie McClendon # of losses in their 1st 10 years - bdnc on 9/23/14 at 11:01 am|
Great comparisons - only goes to show how distorted those numbers can illustrate when referring to 10 wins. Ten wins sounds great but when you add the cupcakes wins with wins against not-so-great teams, what does it really say? But the SEC west doesn't have those easy wins anymore and is much bett...
| Tiger Rant|| re: So, is B Harris R. Perrilloux without the self-destructive tendencies? - bdnc on 9/22/14 at 11:24 pm|
Last time I saw a live arm like Harris’ was when I watched Bert Jones, though Mettenberger did have a similar arm. But Harris has a lot of developing and maturing to do first. Jones didn’t take the helm until his junior year, same for Mettenberger. That said, I do think this weekend is a great op...
