Yeah because, you know, the coach's job is to make the game fun for all the fans first. Winning should come second. Let’s make sure we entertain all the ignorant tards first, then hopefully that will lead us to victory.
I beg to differ. Tiger fans are not leaving because they are spoiled. They are leaving because they are bored to death. Typically, LSU is winning, but instead of passing and making the game fun for the fans, Miles instead prefers to run up the gut on Sam Houston and ULM. Who in the world wants t...
| Tiger Rant|| re: Les Miles vs. Charlie McClendon # of losses in their 1st 10 years - bdnc on 9/23/14 at 11:01 am|
Great comparisons - only goes to show how distorted those numbers can illustrate when referring to 10 wins. Ten wins sounds great but when you add the cupcakes wins with wins against not-so-great teams, what does it really say? But the SEC west doesn't have those easy wins anymore and is much bett...
| Tiger Rant|| re: So, is B Harris R. Perrilloux without the self-destructive tendencies? - bdnc on 9/22/14 at 11:24 pm|
Last time I saw a live arm like Harris’ was when I watched Bert Jones, though Mettenberger did have a similar arm. But Harris has a lot of developing and maturing to do first. Jones didn’t take the helm until his junior year, same for Mettenberger. That said, I do think this weekend is a great op...

This is Google’s definition of the Spread offense
The spread offense is an offensive scheme in American and Canadian football that is used at every level of the game including professional (NFL, CFL), college (NCAA, NAIA, CIS), and high school programs across the US and Canada.
...

Let’s face it, either he starts making changes to an antiquated offense scheme, someone else will come to LSU who will. But note also, the defense is horrible. ...

Alabama is clearly the one to beat
I guess you didn’t watch them pummel Florida? I think there QB threw for 500 yards? I think they have been number one in recruiting the past 5 years? I think they won 3 NC recently.
Ok, you tell me who’s the one to beat i...
If you thought Auburn against K State was exciting all I can say is you are easily entertained.
This was a great early matchup, one I wish there were more of. SEC against the Big 12. There are not many teams who can go into K State and win. K state coach is one of the best i...

Had Harris not got in the game, he would have separated himself from Jennings. Jennings throws a nice long pass, but fails with intermediate passes. His game decisions are poor. Jennings is horrible. ...

i do enjoy watching the SEC. Auburn and A&M offenses are exciting to watch. Running the ball up the gut on Sam Houston and ULM is boring and it doesn’t work in the SEC. ...

Here’s the cold hard facts - Alabama is clearly the one to beat. Auburn and A&M have dynamic spread offenses which are exciting to watch. Both have a shot to win the West. Ole Miss and Miss State, also have spread offenses. Ole Miss beat LSU last year, and Miss State embarrassed LSU at home las...

Winning games against Sam Houston and ULM proves nothing to no one. Development of young talent and giving your QB pass plays to improve and get ready for SEC play makes sense. Running 52 plays makes no sense ...

LSU offense is continually plague by penalties. Illegal procedures, confusion, unwarranted time outs, and poor execution. The link shows LSU as a leader in penalties in the SEC, with abysmal Florida as the worst. Was there one screen pass in which LSU executed successfully?
