re: World Cup Dark Horse Candidates - lesismeaurx
At this point it seems that all of the dark horses have become favorites; i.e. Belgium, Columbia, Chile...While the traditional powers, especially those coming from Europe, have been sort of written off. I'll take Nederland as a dark horse, bright as they may be in reality. My original pick was ...

I think you're underestimating the pull Simone has over some of the players, Koke especially. The great thing too is that his system doesn't depend on a single, or even multiple great players. Falcao left and everyone thought the run was over, but they just raised their level even higher. Simone...

Yeah I don't mean to say that he is never leaving, there is always so much conjecture on this stuff. I think he would be an excellent fit for Arsenal too, he just continues to insist he doesn't want to leave. ...

Not with the right people with him. Arsenal is well structured enough that he wouldn't have to worry about building each and every part of the club. He can't micromanage the way Wenger does, but he could continue the stability of the club. ...
Frank de Boer
has stated numerous times he has no desire to leave Ajax. I think he would be an excellent hire though. Löw would do well too. Klopp would be the guy they should push hardest for. His approach is brilliant and his managing of often young and injured squads (arsenal anyon...

When healthy, they perform well every time. I just don't think I would put them above an on form Bayern or Madrid. Obviously if those are the only two exceptions, then they are still pretty damn good. ...
Their first XI when healthy, is the best I´ve seen this year. Anywhere.
They're good Dandy, but they aren't that good. Any ways, I think a change is needed for Arsenal. Not so much managerially, but tactically. We all know Arsene won't change his approach, so Arsene leav...

Halliovic was playing competitively in Croatia. Ter Stegen is playing competitively in Germany. They can agree to terms with those players, those players can join, but they can't register with the Spanish FA, so they can't play for Barca. ...

The way I understand the rule is that Barca can sign all the players they want, they just can't register them with FIFA and the FA, so they won't be able to play competitively. They can bring players in, have them train with the team, and pay them, but they can't play. ...

A lot of the youth leagues aren't considered competitive sides, so you can switch between them openly. The exception to that is if it is a FIFA sanctioned tournament. Since he has represented Germany at one of these, a one time switch is required to play competitively for us. ...

Well the great thing about this announcement is that we don't have to worry about trying to cap tie him. He is using his one time switch, so once that is processed he is USA for the remainder of his international career. I think he can help deputize the LW role, which in my view is more than wor...

No I think he could create a moment of magic or two coming off the bench, I was responding to the people (not necessarily on this board) that have already begun to put expectations on him when he has never actually worn the shirt.
