When The Count of Monte Cristo came out, I absolutely loved that movie. Then I read the book two years ago. I've never been able to watch the movie again. ...

The show's creator confirmed after the finale that Mozzie sees Neil again. When Peter picks up the card at the end it was supposed to mean that Mozzie had been there and he had left to join Neil in Paris.
I liked the finale, but I felt as if I saw that ending come from a mile away. I took it as ...

As a child, I loved Return of the Jedi more, but as a grew older I definitely favored the Empire Strikes Back more (Which makes me think about the scene in Clerks - Empire or Jedi?). Great films. My friends discussed whether doing the IV, V, VI, I, II, III or IV, V, II, III, VI was better since my f...

Hate that we have performers sing the national anthem at sporting events. It's better to leave it to the crowd (if some people would actually take the time to learn the words to the national anthem :banghead:)

By any chance did anyone catch the alias of the Boothe guy from the episode?
If not, it was James Winston? White Collar possibly trolling FSU? ...

| O-T Lounge|| re: Peeps from the bayou, how do you pronounce - TNVolinSpain on 11/4/14 at 6:59 pm|
Well in French the "gn" is very like the "ñ" in Spanish or the "ni" in the word onion.
| O-T Lounge|| re: What are some of your favorite non-United States national songs? - TNVolinSpain on 9/29/14 at 10:04 am|
La Marseillaise is probably my favorite. Anytime I translate it for any of my friends they can't believe what it means.
I'm also a big fan of the German National Anthem too....

In college, I got to intern with the US State Department and I worked at the US Mission to the OECD. Anyway, my boss, the ambassador to the OECD, was Karen Kornbluh (also known as the Obama brain). She had all the staff over at her place for a party. I got to meet her husband. He introduced himself ...
| Political Talk|| re: Will Scotland's Vote Today Have A Trickle Down Effect In Other Areas? - TNVolinSpain on 9/18/14 at 10:25 am|
I think it was week ago that Barcelona had a 1.8 million people march crying for independence, with a vote on independence planed for November. Spain said they wouldn't approve of any vote without the whole country getting to vote on Catalonia's fate. Otherwise, the Spanish government has said they ...

Spain stated yesterday that they will block with the full force of the Spanish government any vote for independence, but I'm quite sure Catalonia will go ahead with the vote anyway. I wonder how that would work with the Catalans and Basques on the French side of the border though if such a vote were...

I've never had a problem with it. My mom is from the Philippines and refers to Asians as Oriental all the time, and has never had a problem with anyone saying it to her. She's more offended when people call her Mexican. ...

I honestly tried Rosetta Stone before I learned Spanish (got them free from a friend). I didn't find it helpful, especially when I tried the Arabic and Chinese versions. I learned Spanish better just by going to Mexican restaurants and forcing myself to speak with my Mexican servers. I encourage you...

Manila and Angeles City and Muslims? While I'm sure there are some muslims, Manila and Angeles City are two very Catholic cities. In fact, I've never really seen any Muslims in either city.
Southern Philippines is a different story. I'm half Filipino, and my cousins even say that probably wouldn...

It really was a good movie and then I read the book about two years ago, and kind of ruined the movie for me. I didn't think the book could really be that much better than the movie, but it really exceeded expectations. A true master piece. That said, still a solid movie and I do enjoy watching it w...
