re: I blame offensive play calling more than defensive. - landrywasbeast30
So on the two outside sweeps, which I think were his best runs, Cleveland had defenders out there waiting for him right? I could have sworn there was no defender out there on either play. Oh, almost forgot to point out Joe Haden, a cb, knocking Ingram backwards when they collided....
So if he busts off a nice run = good blocking If he has negative yards on a play = his fault got it
Not what I'm saying. You are good at spinning words out of context aren't you? I just said he isn't getting touched til he gets to the second level of the defense. I neve...
Maybe so, what about the last few years? The stats don't back that up
You mean the last few years when he looked like a bust? You just proved my point. But yeah, I'm a moron. And I didn't realize stats were able to show that I'm wrong about the great blocking he gets on most ...

Right, so where did I say he was a horrible addition? I admitted I was basing that off the couple plays I saw where that happened, without taking into account the good coverage he must have had on other plays I wasn't seeing. I realized my error in how I was judging him. I admit when I am wron...

I love this board. I said watch the tape. I said no need to argue. I admitted I have an irrational hatred of Ingram and to ignore my comments. You guys are crazy. All I'm saying is the o-line opens huge holes for the guy, which is true. Why is that such a horrible thing to say? Isn't that what...

How about you watch the replay of the game. Watch Ingram's best runs, and watch how great the blocking is for him. It's that simple. No need to argue. Then watch Khiry either getting hit in the backfield, or squeezing through a small hole and spinning and making people miss in traffic....

Yes, please show me where I said Keenan Lewis was a horrible addition. I honestly don't remember saying that. But again, I did admit to judging Lewis the wrong way. And I said multiple times I have an irrational hatred of Ingram. Do you guys know what that's means? It means I just don't like hi...
He's the same guy who thought Keenan Lewis was a horrible addition last year...halfway through the season.
WTF? I said when teams had a third and long and converted, it seemed to be against Lewis. I said Greer looked like he played tighter coverage than Lewis. Then I admitted t...

Does it really make you that mad that I think most of Ingram's good runs come from the o-line opening huge holes?...

Yes, Ingram is putting up better numbers. But, anyone who thinks Ingram is more talented than Khiry, well that is just silly. I often find myself laughing when Ingram is running around because of how slow he looks. He juked a guy for a td during the preseason, and I was laughing because it looked...

Robinson had one chance today where he had decent blocking and should have broke a big run. Late in the game, he got ankle tackled. If not for that, he would have scored, and he knew it. He blew his chance there. Go back and watch those two runs Ingram broke to the outside. There was no one o...

Am I the only person who notices that Ingram constantly has huge holes to run through, and he isn't getting touched until he's in the secondary? Seems all of his runs are like this. I wish Khiry got blocking like that....

re: I may be off but I think SP tips his hand with his RBs - landrywasbeast30
So you think Junior mailed it in because he got paid, and that Ingram is better than Robinson and should get all the carries? That's silly. Robinson is pretty much better than Ingram at everything. Ingram had a clear lane to the outside for the first td, and somehow barely got in for the score. ...
I thought Ryan was better than that.
Everyone forgot this because of how good the defense was last year, but Ryan has coached exactly two good defensive seasons in his career, and that's including last year. It was one of the reasons many people questioned hiring him....

re: Game is on the DL - landrywasbeast30
Ryan made a ton of plays either escaping pressure, or with pressure in his face. The problem was Rob Ryan. Too many 3 man rushes, db's playing way too deep, mlb's covering Hester and Douglas. It looked like Ryan watched some Gregg Williams film and said, "let's do that"....

re: Off-Tackle Running Game - landrywasbeast30
Nice to see Robinson get a little love. Ingram looked good, but man, Robinson looks like Marshawn Lynch with how hard it is to get him down. He's great at reading his blocks, squeezing through holes, and spinning out of trouble. Ingram did get some giant holes, but he looked faster, and broke a...
