Drive-by to say I'm happy that when I got ready for a job Interview this morning, I learned I'd lost at least 10 lbs because my suit was too big and almost fell off. And the interview went well. So, good day....

That's the truth too. That lady got up with the sun and stayed busy all day. Every day except Sunday. There just aren't people like that anymore. That I know of, anyway. Oh, and during baseball season? She NEVER missed a Cardinals game. Ever....

That's so true Garfield. My MaMa didn't really have recipes, she cooked by taste. I pretty much cook that way too, but I don't have her touch. I wish I'd been a little older (she passed when I was 9) so I could have learned more from her. Her biscuits, pie crusts, homemade dressing/stuffing...I wish...

You're welcome. Another of my favorites is of a day I spent with my MaMa. She and I went out on the farm with buckets, to the wild blackberry bramble. I don't know why she picked me to go with her because I ate as many berries as I put in my bucket! But we picked all the ripe berries, went back ...

Our receivers are almost plug 'n play. We will have good receivers. Mauk will have to work a little harder and develop the rapport he had with DGB, but he has time to do this. ...

This is a tough one. Lots of memorable experiences. One I've been thinking of a lot lately is the first time I remember seeing the ocean, on a family vacation with my cousin. We ran down the beach, through the sea oats and into the Florida surf, laughing and splashing each other. Then posed for ...

It may be sobering. But remember, these guys know nothing about any receive on the team except DGB. Last year Washington and Lucas were a surprise to them, and they discounted our chances against more well-know competition. I think we still have very good receivers - just maybe not a superstar. I'm ...

Phelps coined the term "fast water" that MizzouRec uses. He liked swimming there because of the design of the pool, but I wasn't aware he lived and trained in Columbia for any significant length of time. They used to host an Olympic qualifying tournament every year, not sure if they still do. Bu...

I would want a nice engagement/wedding ring, but my tastes are pretty simple. Like UM, I don't care for yellow gold much. Diamonds are ok, but my world doesn't revolve around stuff like that. I'd be ok with anothe stone, emeralds are my favorite. Honestly, the person who said it's more about wha...

First one to come to mind... A few years ago I was at a mall in St. Louis. I saw a very large women walking along by a fountain. Maybe I'm too idealistic, but I really don't want to believe that dismissing a player from the team was a PR move. I'm sure the story yesterday didn't help, but I think there was more to the incident last weekend than has been made public, and that's why he was dismissed. Kid has problems and needs ...
