re: Yearly Teachers are Complaining about their Vacation Being Over - RedMustang
Starting pay here is $35,000 and I don't know of one single teacher who works only eight hours per day. Most come early, stay late, and work evenings or week-ends. Most take summer classes which they pay for out of their own pocket and spend their own money for classroom supplies. For a starting ...

Can't believe that no one said to use a grill. You can make virtually anything on those. Yesterday I made a deep dish homemade taco pizza in a cast iron pan on my Weber. ...

re: Men that let their wife drive when they go some place - RedMustang
My wife drives 99% of the time. It's a win, win. I don't get a DWI. I can keep my mouth shut while she drives (unlike the other way around), and I can read or surf the web while she drives. What's not to like about that?...

re: Looking for some shepherds pie recipes - RedMustang
by sloopy have a craving for some shepherds pie and will probably make some over the weekend. I've been eye balling Alton Browns recipe, has anyone tried it? I'm open to suggestions.
I made that one and it was dang good. Not a huge fan of the rosemary, so I'll leave it out or ...
ged over the years for HS. Runners like Jim Ryun and Marty Liquori used LSD extensively in their training.
Must not have had drug testing then if they both used LSD. Ryan was the Secretariat of his sport. He was a freak of nature. ...

re: Hardwood Flooring Installation - RedMustang
My first time out, I ran into a couple boxes that had what seemed like minor dings only to find out that the tongue/grooves were damaged.
This is VERY common as the ends are easily damaged. We just put a laminate floor in our family room. We bought an extra box and returned the ones...

re: Road bicycle recommendations for a beginner - RedMustang
I too, recently went looking for a beginner road bike. I soon realized the cheaper road bikes didn't shift well and were heavier and slower. I moved my budget upwards considerably. I ended up with a 2014 Raleigh Ravenio with a full carbon frame and 105 rear shifter for $1450. It is MUCH nicer than b...

re: Ideal weight - RedMustang
by Tigertown in ATL quote: Now is a good time to work out if you are down to the weight you want to be. I was hoping the answer would be "it's too late to work out. Just be happy where you are." Serious though, is heavy weight and low reps the best way to go? I'm 54. I only act like a k...

re: Ideal weight - RedMustang
by yellowfin How are you measuring body fat? I'd have guessed you were more than 23% in first pic
With a Tanita body fat scale. I think the phone angle makes me look a bit fatter than I actually was. I checked my records and I was at 22.7% body fat when that picture was taken. ...

re: Ideal weight - RedMustang
I'll play along. I'm just shy of 6'1" and 50+ years old. In the picture on the left, I'm 205 pounds with 23% body fat. Four months later in the right picture, I'm 170 with 15.6% body fat. (At least according to my Tanita bathroom scale) [img]http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/z372/RedMustang2000...
Though the Hockey Gold was impressive and unexpected. It was not the most improbable and astonishing thing of the games. Eric Heiden winning all 5 speed skating distances is just insane. It's like Usain Bolt winning the mile half mile and 10k in the same Olympic game.
Wrong and...
