Navionics hands down. Best $10 I ever spent. Charts and satellite imagery are spot on and it serves as a backup to my GPS as well.

I would get the navionics platinum plus card. Depending on where you fish they have a card that covers from st. martin East or one that covers from Venice West for $200 or for $400 you can get the whole gulf coast....

I think biggest thing is a sea trial. Run it hard as rayvegas said, hammer down, take tight turns etc.

I use starbright deck cleaner with PTEF and find it works alot better than regular boat soap. I've never heard of flushing your motor with it though. ...

I'm skipping friday, I dont like fishing trout when real cold, bite is too slow and hard to find them, usually in deep holes though like MJ2 said.
I think Sunday is going to be the best day, prob hunt Friday and Saturday then head to fishing camp Saturday. May make a run Saturday afternoon. Just ...

Trout - electric american angler with the same method as Hat.
Redfish - dexter Russell bread knife from tail to head when leafing on half shell. Head to tail with filleting. I never use electric on reds, amazing how log my blade last now! :cheers:...

I was alwas told to wrap in a wet towel and freeze. Did this for some bream I got mounted and they came out great.
Being it will be so special to you prob worth a call to your taxidermist prior to the trip to see what he prefers.

The issue I have is not owning the water but the fish that are in the water are our natural resource and are not owned by anyone. If you block off the canals making a pond so be it, but as long as they come an go they are my resource that I as a tax...

The moles are eating grubs and other bugs in the ground, you need to kill the grubs and worms and they will move on. Treat with a granulated truf pest killer from home depot or lowes by following the directions on the bag and you'll see a difference in a few weeks. :thup:
