re: Anyone here watched a game at Wrigley from one of the rooftop clubs? - rlanders23
CHIPs25 has a great point here. However, I'll add that in the last year or so, the scalpers have done a much better job colluding. In many cases, they'd rather eat the tickets for a given game than sell them at a deep discount -- this prevents them from driving the behavior Chip described. I'm no...

Several times. You should sign up for Living Social and set your preferences to receive Chiago deals. They're constantly offering seats for $80-$100 per person, which includes all you can eat and drink. In fact, I got one within the past few days so you might just go straight to their website an...

This doesn't really prove anything. It would be a much stronger argument if you had stats showing that bouman was getting blasted once he crossed that 6 inning threshold. Using your stats, who's to say he wouldnt get stronger in the later innings?...

Any of you Houston peeps use a CPA you'd recommend? I'm in The Woodlands but would be willing to drive a bit for the right person. Please include approximate cost in your recommendation, if you don't mind. Lastly, if there's any context you can provide, that would help me out. Thanks in advance...

Fellow Outdoor Boarders -- wife and i just bought a new home. She recently also bought me a 20-gun gun safe for my birthday. Thanks, guys. I'll look into both of those options. TnS, I'm assuming you had been 1099 for >2 years prior to securing this loan with Whitney; am I right? Apparently, that's the key, and I've only got 2-3 months this far. Regardless, I'll give Whitney a call tomorrow and see if they can help....

re: If you had 120,000 in the bank. - rlanders23
Not necessarily true. With many employers, you don't have to invest equal amounts throughout the year, meaning you can front-load, or in your case, back-load your 401k. Basically, instead of contributing 17,500/24 or 26(based on how often you get paid)per month, you'd simply invest twice that amou...

Where's the capital coming from? If it's coming from the bank, I'd assume it'll be very cheap, but this will likely depend on your company's size, rating (if applicable). If I were in your shoes, I'd use something very low (in the 5% range), but I could be wrong. If my quick math is right (wo...
