Dry aged steaks - yay or nay? - LSUAfro
This isn't a DIY thread as we've seen in the past. I've eaten dry aged steaks at some of the nation's best steak houses and I don't get it. 40 day, 55 day, 65 day it doesn't matter. I've tried them 4 or 5 times just to see if it was the particular cow, cut, or cook, but I'm usually left disappoin...

re: 100K Net Worth - LSUAfro
Would 100k by 30 be an achievement or just so so?
It's a nice milestone especially for a single guy. On a MT board with which seems to be full of mostly finance/attorney/engineer type folks I wouldn't say it is probably all that uncommon. The kicker excluding many under 30 might ...

re: Anybody else think prime rib is overrated? - LSUAfro
I like prime rib. Capital City Grill does a nice one for a reasonable price. I don't know how it is considered overrated either though. Who is rating this prime rib so high? The term overrated is overused and over-mis-understood. ...

re: Road Rage- Man killed in front of family - LSUAfro
I don't care if they charge this guy or not. If you're stupid/crazy enough to chase somebody at high speeds, follow them until they park and get out of your car, and all while having your whole family in the car with you(including your grandchild)....well, your time was probably limited anyways ...

I actually claimed I was going to cancel my AMEX SPG this year when the fee comes due, but after thinking about it, I'm not. I forget that Small business Saturday comes with a free $30 credit per card and since my wife is an authorized user, her card is also eligible for the $30 credit. I can us...
I currently have a Freedom, no-fee Sapphire, Ink Bold, and Ink Plus.
So, you're getting 5x on gas 6 months out of the year, and 2% the other 6 months. That's good. You're covering household bills with the Inks. That's good. You get 2% back at restaurants 9 months and 5% 3 month...
