at this point, everything is speculation but from experience i've learned to avoid the knee-jerk reactions others in this business take. bring the truck in and let's figure the best repair for it. if it requires a new tool, buy it and get the job done.
after being in and around the business for a...

no shite stout. that's why i said i want to see a cross section of the repair. i don't believe they could have repaired that bedside enough to not warrant a trowel and form boards to spread filler. show me the backside of that panel. show me the corrosion protection applied to the inner after all the...

Why would the cost to repair ever come down? That makes no sense. thats like saying the cost of a McDonald's cheeseburger will eventually get back to $.49. The price has been set. It's double that of steel repair right now and it will only go up from here....

Wish the admins could pull my post out of the wacked thread. I put some good info in there.
That panel should have been replaced. There's no fricking way you do that much repair to a bedside on someone's brand new $50k vehicle. The repair would have taken half the time.
The 700lb weight savings...

Mom came in for the night and wanted to go to the isle of capris buffet. I ate their over-cooked, leather-dry version of prime rib, soggy squash and zuch with decent to pretty good bread pudding for desert. Coke to drink because they don't serve beer in the buffet on week nights!?!!!
One of my gu...

When does the season open on Californians? Talk about wildlife needing management. Ecology says you can't have herbivores with no natural predators and somehow they've managed to thrive over there. There's probably a few trophies to be had. Let's start with Hollywood. ...

If your asking me, Gaia GPS will track you or you can make waypoints. Waypoints are better for me in the area I hunt (marsh) because I know where I've been was solid ground. If I tracked only, my track would look some kind of messed up from trial and error.
You can also set as many waypoints as y...
