Probably would have been fatal then if not for the shoulder/ leg bone at that distance
I've taken a yote at 45 with federal subsonic out of my suppressed 10/22 but that was slightly head on at night through the eye into the brain.
The Velocitor probably would have had enough extra oomph to ha...

What .22 round and out of what gun?
I have good success with the CCI Velocitor's out of either my 16" barrelled 10/22 or my 24" barrelled Savage Mark 2.
40 grains at roughly 1420 fps...

Hypothetically a stray cat came into my coyote hunt the other night, intent on making a meal out of a dying rabbit.
.22 subs and a suppressed 10/22 did , in fact, rebuke the myth that cats have nine lives.
Hypothetically , of course....

Tim co-wrote it.
Very talented comedian/musician....

I know not necessarily OB -related, but figured more OB-ers would know/heard of Tim on the John Boy n Billy show.
Great dude. Went to HS with him. Played baseball together. Died from heart attack in Columbus while stopping back home between gigs.
Will be sorely missed.

Anyone running one?
Am looking at a future SBR build and want a suppressor to pull double duty on something else.
I know the SD-N6 from AAC is a good all around multi caliber but I recently saw that the Specwar Octane HD2 for 9mm is also a viable choice for such a set up.
I currently only have ...

Just figure it would be a good way to replenish the CCI 1,600 bulks I sold back in the rough times.
Not to mention would be nice to maybe get some bulk subsonic 300 BLK, if such an animal exists anymore.

In theory I agree Bapple.
However sometimes reality is a bit different with the fiancee.
Case in point..she wants a CC gun.
We go into the local PSA here to look at semi-auto's. Guy behind counter hands her a Shield in 9mm. Immediately she takes gun and crosses left thumb over right thumb...

Have a question for you Cabela's guys.
They are opening up a new store here in a few months. Does Cabelas keep their bulk ammo on the shelves usually, or on endcaps or is it normally found behind the display case hidden from view?
Want to hAve some idea where to look when the store opens and the...

The Ruger on paper is a good choice. My initial thought was this would be a great gun for my fiancee as a CC gun.
Then we shot it. The problem is the spring is so heavy duty in order to make good contact on the strike that it makes for a horrible double action trigger. Thats the main issue I have...

Well finally had the chance to shoot the 10/22 again with t h e Spectre 2 and figured out the issue. Seems the baffle system wasn't in alignment in regards to the machined channel that is on the ID of the baffles. This is the correct answer.
It's much easier to get done.
MUCH quicker in getting your tax stamp back, especially if it is e-filed, which my trust lawyer did for me.
It resolves issues of what happens to your NFA articles ( suppressors,SBR's, Barret type big bore rifles, etc) when you die. Wit...
