re: Truck bed cover suggestions? - Who Me
I have the undercover flex. I like it so far. The retractable ones are cool but you will lose 8-12 inches of bed space where the canister sits and they are the most expensive....

re: Powel Shooting footage - Who Me
I strongly disagree with this whole "they should have tased him" notion. Tasing works under optimal conditions - close range, thin clothing, normal sized person, not moving, etc. Trying to tase someone that eratic and aggressive, constantly moving with no knowledge of if they are armed or dru...
I don't expect to be protected. I do expect some kind of investigation and hopefully some kind of resolution after the fact. The odds of them preventing a crime in progress, unless it's a long drawn out ordeal, is very small. Not enough for me to count on it happening.
I under...

re: Would it be justifiable to shoot a police officer if... - Who Me
Video would almost be your only hope.
Yes, that's most likely. It is not suppose to be something that easily justifable. I know that sounds bad. If it were so easy (legally speaking) to resist a police officer it would cause far too many fights/shootings with officers whi...

re: One officer says, shut up and take it. - Who Me
An officer shouldn't have any problem with being video taped unless he is doing something that he shouldn't in which case shame on him. However I have seen instances where someone misundertands in that although they can video tape they cannot necessarily come so close to the officer that it cause...
Is there any situation in which it is justifiable to physically defend yourself against unlawful actions by the police?
Yes but it would be very difficult to prove you were justified (the victim) and the officer was the suspect. You would likely be arrested and have to fight i...

re: Would it be justifiable to shoot a police officer if... - Who Me
I'm asking by the book, is what I'm saying justifiable or not?
In the scenario you posted in the op I don't see anything that would rise to the level of deadly force. So . . NO you can't shoot someone because you think they are placing you under false arrest. But you are t...

re: Would it be justifiable to shoot a police officer if... - Who Me
The cops needs to tell me that my vehicle matches the description of a crime committed. He/she has to inform the "suspect" why they are being pulled over/detained.
