Definitely not PAC marina for a beginner. The current in the canal at the marina can be brutal. Better if launching from island road. Lots of easy fishing marsh with zero boat traffic....

Holy$h#T... We got hammered too. 40-50 mph winds driving ball bearing and golf ball size hail sideways. I honestly thought it blew out my upstairs windows. That was insane!!!!!! ...

30-06 hands down. Best all purpose Deer rifle you can buy. FWIW just got back from West Texas Exotic hunt where I went head to head with 7mm mags, 308's, and 270's. My 30-06 had more knock down power than any of them. Distances from 75 yards to 300 on Elk, Axis and Fallow deer. Shooting 150 grain...

Orion cooker. Hands down the best smoker I have ever owned. Solid stainless steel and cooks incredibly juicy and fast. Won't break the bank either.

Motion X is real time and allows you to input waypoints and tracks your movements. Even sends email/text messages with GPS location and map automtaically to whoever you chose. Great for Kayak since I fish alone most of the time. ...

I'm really leaning towards the Native ultimate. Just a very clean design that will hold gear and is easy to customize. Think I'll hit up Massey for a personal demo of Native and WD Ride.
On a sperate question - Just curious how far you guys who marsh fish typically paddle round trip a day?...
