Good point. From what I have read is that although the loads are hotter , one would have to run a significant amount of ammo through to affect the rifle. ...

Springfield Trapdoor 45-70 model 1884 - hunt66
I have one that has been in the family for generations - old trapdoor in great condition. I remember watching dad and his friends shoot it when I was young but it has not been fired in years. Thinking about shooting it during primitive weapon season - would be cool to take a deer with a gun that my...

re: Adding Maps using Google Earth on iPhone - hunt66

re: Adding Maps using Google Earth on iPhone - hunt66

re: Adding Maps using Google Earth on iPhone - hunt66
Huntinguy - thanks - that's what we did - we GPS'd trails and roads and stands then saved as a kmz file and stored in google maps account. from there it was simple as opening google earth and then uploading them from google maps account - not so much any more. I had heard when they "upgraded" it c...

Adding Maps using Google Earth on iPhone - hunt66

We did this a few years ago and it has been working great up to this year. When I was bow hunting I noticed they were no longer showing up - n...

re: What's the best way to dig up a Sago Palm? - hunt66
I have pulled 4 from yard over years and now they are all gone. Put on gloves, cut fronds and then cut around base with shovel. Then I pulled 2 with jeep and one with ATV. Other one I just kept chopping at roots and working with shovel. Good luck. ...

re: Prayers for the best outdoorsman I've ever known. (UPDATE PG2) - hunt66
My son is 18 and last year we lost my grandmother who was very close to my son.
