I wouldn't necessarily say that low death benefit of whole life was protecting his family well, other than covering funeral costs and the cost of briefly adjusting to life without him.
By comparison, my term life policy has a death benefit of $1,200,000 and costs $75/month....

The app didn't work, so I sent a text to the person who stole it.
Basically we know who you are and where you work, theft over $500 is grand theft, and the Plan B app sent address info throughout the night (a bluff). Wife just said that husband is a hothead and we just want to get the phone back...

Those are fair questions, and I know it is not the best mathematical answer.
However, my savings comes off the top, then I pay bills and spend the rest. So if I save $1000 after-tax or before-tax, the rest gets spent either way. Plus, having a good mix of of retirement savings will provide flex...

That sounds like some expensive iron and processing.
