Get him another Case. Don't be a jerk and replace his perfect knife with something else. Take it and have his name engraved on it.
I got a good friend a nice bone handle trapper, and had his name and a Bible verse engraved on it for about $20.
Edit for clarification: The engraving was $...

If you are measuring yourself for the purpose of ordering a new custom tub/shower, counter, etc. in an old home, I suggest you tear the old one out first. I once (once) ordered before tearing out a tub. Ended up with a couple previously unkown obstructions behind the tub. Became a shimming SOB. ...

Since you have electricity you can use a 120v system, unless you just like hauling batteries around.
You can rig up this system to it somehow I'm sure, and sell the parts you don't need. [link=(http://neworleans.craigslist.org/for/4620005072.html)]LINK[/link]

Well that makes it way fricking easier. Hot, running water should be a piece of cake. You should be able to find a container, pump, and water heater on Craigslist for $200 or so. Home depot bill will be about $200 for pvc, fittings, faucets, etc. ...

Wick's drawing is what you need. You do not have to make it that elaborate though.
You need a gutter to funnel water into a container. I used a black 55gal drum at my last off the grid camp. Cover the top with a couple screens, and add bleach to the water every month or so. A 12v pump will ...

I assume you are talking about currently using 4/0 trotline hooks. Use a smaller hook. Go to a 1/0 or a 1. I always catch much better on smaller trotline hooks.
I am sure circle hooks will catch well, but they are 20x the cost of 1/0 trotline hooks. ...
