2wd, LT, convinience package, towing package. Had to pay almost 29k. Msrp was 31k. The long beds were hard to find in a crew cab, and they don't come down much with the limited supply. ...

re: Truck News: Diesel Colorado, complete info - dat yat
Last week I got a Colorado crew cab, long bed with the V6. Really like it. It tows more than my 2003 Silverado with the small v8, gets better mileage, handles and rides better, etc. The old one is still a good truck at 242k miles so I passed it on to my son. I have no need for the deisel, b...

re: When you see people wearing LSU gear, do you acknowledge them? - dat yat
The other day a cyclist in LSU gear was going up St Carles Ave. At a stop light we noticed he had Old Shool Mike tatoo to one calf and Tounces tatoo to the other. I asked if my stepdaughter could take a pic and he was happy to pose. Normally, I don't even notice LSU garb in New Orleans....

re: Tip appliance deliveryman or not? - dat yat
I did appliance delivery for a while and we never expected tips. Very few wealthy older people tipped us, and it was always a nice surprise. Being offered a cold drink was way more common and always appreciated....

re: In the market for a new kayak - dat yat
I got the 12' Emotion Mojo angler for about $500. It is fast, tracks well and maneuvers well, especially compared to the canoe and pirogue that I used before I had it. It also has good rear storage and pole holders. Negatives: 1- It could use a seat cushion. 2- Front hatch is too small for la...

re: 250cc 4wheelers? - dat yat
My cousin has an old Honda Recon that won't quit. Our club is mostly flat woodlands without swamp/soughs, so it is really all that is needed for one guy to haul one deer or a few sacks of corn. If you want to double up, haul multiple deer, use it for food plotting, need 4wd or have serious hil...

re: Waterfront Property Owners - What Homeowners Do You Carry? - dat yat
Mine is a condo, so its more complex than insurance on a regular house/camp. I just switched the association from Citizens to Oklahoma Fire and Casualty through Hartwig Moss. The rates are reasonable at about $1k/yr/unit. Flood insurance for the buildings is a mess right now because some unit...

re: My tenant replaced a bunch of boards on the back deck w/out asking me - dat yat
My tenant just put up a fence around the AC units because the dog kept chewing on conduits. She had the damage fixed and put the fence up on her own dime. Didn't concern me; I just figure she wants to be a long term tenant. Check the work just to be safe; 20' decks create a little more liabilit...
Is it their fault that the home lost value? Do you think they owe the bank the full price of the home? Would you sit on a home like that for years to pay back the 60K loss you sustained?
1 - No, It's not their fault. shite happens, but you took the risk. 2 - Yes, they owe the b...
