The Winchester 130 grain Power-point is the one to go with.. I've killed a pile of deer over two decades with them and only one deer was not recovered. Probably a bad shot on my part. The only one that required a long tracking job was a bad shot. The Winchester Power-points do their job.

Turning that all the way up to "10" helped a lot with the backlash, hurt the distance.
As far as the brakes, I was keeping them tight enough to allow a slow drop with the button pressed and the rod horizontal.
