Yep. Trout are less than last year; and my best red trips have been the points in Lake B and the Biloxi Marsh.

Cool video. I live a five minute run to Lake Borgne and need to learn tripletail. I already have the treble hooks and several colors of Matrix Shad, including Shrimp Creole. Gotta try that.
Also, the reggae tune: "To the rescue, Sea Tow time" is subtle. Took me a bit to catch on. :lol:...

I fished proctor point and a few of the rigs off Alligator point last week with my boy. Caught some nice reds and a few decent trout, noticed more crab traps than there were in early/mid June.
Also noticed duckweed mixed with alligator weed floating all over. This stuff must have come from St...

I hunt a piney section of southeast AR and there are way more deer there than in the piney woods of southeast MS. If our club could teach me and a couple others to tell the difference between a button and a doe (as well as count to three a little better); we could really have a great herd.

I ended up with that one too.
I tried the $120 super-lightweight fiberglass paddle they had, but it was too short and they did not have the right length. I don't think a couple ounces would make much difference unless you go pretty far....

The catering chef at Pat O's on the River told us that one of their offerings was "gluten free pasta sauce". When asked if the pasta or the sauce was gluten free he insisted it was just the sauce; the past itself has gluten.
What's the point? That's like putting Kosher gravy on a Christmas ham....

My daughter got married two weeks ago, her last week on the dole was by far the most expensive.
Other than that they are most expensive during late HS/college when you are paying tuition and driving costs in addition normal living expenses....
