for now i have the walmart boat cover with a PVC frame and its just fine, it will do, the boat isnt new, by the time i can afford a new boat, ill be able to get a shed, so it all works out...

my xpress is aluminum hull not a fibeglass. I was told by an xpress dealer today that under the capet is alum also. I have only had the boat a week so i havent looked for myself but i'd be willing to bet that it is metal also under the carpet...

yup, just finished about 300LF of my back yard...not chain link, simple pine but man it was some work, make sure you have some friends to help

im removing ALL carpet so the turf would need to cover the entire boat (hatches and sides) im trying to see how to do that since it will not roll over edges, which the boat has a lot of. i dont want to boat looking like i cut a bunch of square mats and glued them to fit...

im not putting carpet back in, as of now my first choice is a 2 part nonskid paint and second would be the hydro turf. I cant find pictures of the hydroturf in the application besides flooring only, not how i would be using it.

$1800 for carpet = no way in hell. I would definitly do it myself. however; if i do anything myself i would be much better at the paint which is cheaper and looks better. Im only wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with something simialer...

I rather not have carpet bc i do a lot of red and speck fishing, also the paint/epoxy looks a lot better and easier to clean
i can apply the paint for about $400 which blows everything else away but i want it to last. ...

Only pic i have of the boat as it is still new to me. Its kind of far away so its hard to tell but the carpet is almost wearing through and discoloring in some areas. I am re painting the seen alumnium and wanted to make it look good with some new flooring

So i have a 2002 Xpress bass boat and the carpet is showing its age. I was looking to remove the old carpet and put down some nonskid 2 part paint/epoxy. Any Suggestions? Im considering the Interlux paints from West Marine.

Anyone use those corrigated metal covers? they have a metal roof and some have sides and you anchor them in the yard or to the concrete. They seem to be fairly inexpensive solution for a few years ...

that is my dad's setup and i HATE having to deal with the tarp not designed to fit the boat so its all over the place and having to bungy cord that thing down, so i want one made for a boat with a tie down system

my dad made some for his boat that fit in the seat post holes and ran down the center of the boat over the CC. I may have to make some of my own.
Ill look into those cover brands. I rather pay the high price once than having to constantly replace the cheap ones....
