I have a 44 or 45" redfish mount (I forget now). All I did was I take multiple pictures and measurements. I don't know if it is considered a good mount or not but you can tell it is a replica. It is about 5 years old now.

Stayed at elusiveporpi's camp Friday night with his brother and a few others. Saturday morning we ended up with 60 keepers. from Last Island. that's where I fished 2 years ago. We picked up 2 reds there (16-18"). we saw a few more but no bites. Went from pond to pond (bay to bay) but didn't find much. That's always a back up plan for us though ...

Thats quite a run to Queen Bess Island. According to google earth, thats 26 miles as the crow flys which is why I usually concentrate on the bass/reds division. A few years ago when we were at your camp in cocodrie, my dad called me to go on a chartered trip to where you are talking about. I passed on the trip and they caught their trout limit at the rigs out there...thats all I got.

this may or may not help. I work for an O&G Derrick barge company in Houma. We got shot parts and equipment pretty regularly to the docks. We also use acme hot shots when we need to get personnel to or from the dock outside of crew change. Also we use acme for crew changes (15-25 people)

I was on the boat with Porpi over the weekend. We didnt try the Ipilot at the rigs for the snapper but we did use it night fishing at a platform in Lake Pelto. It did hold us in a few feet of the "anchor" sport. It was pretty badass to not have to mess with the anchor to get set up. ...

I have a 20' Xpress H20B w/ a 115 yammy. I fish everywhere from last island to reds in the marsh to freshwater. 10" hydro jackplate and I can get in some skinny stuff. It's a quality alum boat so you can put it away wet and be alright.

I have the 5.0 w/ 4x4 and E-locker and 3.73 gears. I tow a 3000lb bay boat with ease and this past weekend i got 14.5mpg at 55-60mph going to cocodrie. I wanted the 4x4 for my deer camp but never needed it for boat launches but the locker has been useful on some alge/lilly covered launches.
