Can someone explain the time decay to me? I must be missing it. I'd imagine if I buy shares of UGAZ today at current price and trade them 6 months from now, I'd get the price at that time. Is this wrong?
Looking at the chart for UGAZ, if you had bought it July 23rd at 13.83, couldn't you sell it...

So this might be a dumb question but would it be a mistake to hold onto your whole position in UGAZ and bet on the weather staying cold and Nat gas going up more over the next couple of months?...
| Money Talk|| re: Paging Will Cover: I'm in the market for a new car - Crbello4Hiceman on 8/7/14 at 3:04 pm|
No idea. MSRP is right at $36k. They told me I could get the standard "1,500 off" but that doesn't get me quite down to the invoice price, much less any lower.
I am starting to guess I won't have any room to make them move since the vehicle isn't on site- why would they order it to sell it to me...

Does anyone have any input on how likely dealers are to come down if you are trying to get a very "popular" vehicle? For instance, if they don't have the color you are looking for or the options you want on hand, can you still get them down below invoice price? I'd imagine you don't have as...

Right- if the market for is position is $60k and he is currently getting $45k and the other company is offering him $60k, he is justified telling his current company he would like to match it.
On the other hand, if he is currently getting market (in this case, $60k) and the other company is offer...

All I can say about this is that I have gotten raises that have my salary way above what it would have been if I had left for 5% raises at other companies. If you work hard and add value and your company is reasonable, it will pay off to be loyal. Now, if tehy aren't willing to promote or pay you wh...

If you leverage an offer to get a raise and don't get a raise, you pretty much have to leave. Otherwise, you would have a very complicated relationship with your employer if you stay.
If you get more money using another offer as leverage, you will 1) have communicated to management that you are o...

Personally, I don't like accounts that you can't touch. I'd just invest in an account you can use for other things and take the tax hit as the cost to have flexibility.
Imagine she gets a scholarship somewhere and doesn't need the money or has TOPS, etc. I'd rather have the money available for a ...

cashed out a 60% gain and got the risk of the table. Probably a dumb move but I'm trying to tell myself that if something bad and unexpected were to happen, it was good to have cashed those gains....

Anybody rethinking their strategy lately?...

so, no? Not sure I followed alot of the response. As I understand, KOLD is double bear natural gas so if natural gas prices are supposed to go down this summer, it stands to reason KOLD will see 2x that effect, right?...

In my opinion, not alot of good cheap properties listed in the big LV. You're betting that in 5-6 years the appreciation will beat the 7% you are going to lose in closing costs.
You'd need a good discounted property (perhaps the incentive for the seller is that you can do a cash deal?). Then, yo...

True story- I've been trading GDP the last 2 years. I buy then sell every time it shoots up 10-15% then buy on a pullback.
One time my dollar cost average was about $12 and I sold some 6 month $15 strike calls and it gushed to $28.... it pulled back to $17 by the time they executed. Capped my ga...

I got one as an incentive during the closing process on my condo paid for by the seller (you, the tax payer via freddie mac). Love it.
