Vyeeners are only good when fishing. You've gotta eat them with worm guts and catfish slime to make em edible. In the deer stand it's either poptarts, satsumas, or puddin/fruit cups. I also always drink at least two redbulls. ...

What's the beef with the shield trigger? I put my first 150 rds through mine last weekend. I'm no handgun expert, but out of all the handguns I've fired, I like the feel of the shield trigger best, and was actually more accurate with it than any other pistol, right out of the box. It was smooth and ...

I shoot 130 gr. Hornady Custom XP's and I've never had one run far at all. It's a ballistic tip that does some SERIOUS damage. I have shot Core-Lokt, Silvertip, and Federals before and none have even come close. Plus my Winchester 70 shoot groups as close to an inch as I'll let it with them. ...

If that is what you plan on carrying on a daily basis, why would they not want you learning/practicing with what you carry? Kinda seems like practicing putting with a driver. When it comes time to actually putt with a putter, you're not gonna know whether to scratch your watch or wind your ass. ...

You haven't seen many Glock vs. 1911 debates then.
I agree about the size. I bought a 1911 thinking I'd carry it and quit because it was to bulky. Thats also why I decided to replace it with the Shield. That's what got me thinking about this thread. I've got a gun that holds the same number of r...
| Outdoor Board|| Question about S&W Shield - jsb29 on 2/15/14 at 9:15 am|
I bought a Shield 9 last weekend for my everyday carry so don't take this as being argumentative, just curious.
One of the reason Glock lovers hate 1911's is because of capacity. They will argue "Why give up the 7-8 rds. Just for a little extra power?".
Those same people will then turn around a...

I just checked out the N82. I like the Neoprene idea. I assume the clip attaches to the holster at the bottom so you can tuck your shirt between the two, and only the clip is showing?

Hardly any deer were seen at our lease in Eufaula, AL this year. 3 decent bucks, a couple culls, and a few does. When my wife carries, it is the Bodyguard .380. I know some people think .380 is an inferior defense caliber, but she is shy about anything bigger. I'd rather her be comfortable with something a little small, than to not be able to use what she has just so she can carry something bigger.
