re: what temp do you stop wearing shorts? - PSU2LSU
I'll wear shorts into the 30's. When I ran X-country up north, coach would only allow us to race in our singlets no matter what the weather. Snow on the ground, race in our singlets. Couldn't risk disqualifications for being out of uniform. I've gotten used to wearing shorts in all types of weat...

re: Amazon employees have to wait up to 25 minutes in line to leave work. - PSU2LSU
Out of HS I worked at UPS (PHL air hub). Same thing, had to wait to get out of the building. During peak season we had close to 1000 employees in the buildings, two exits with maybe 4 total guards. I've never had to wait more then a few minutes. Of course Amazon may be more stringent then UPS. ...

re: Nail in Emmert's coffin: NCAA influenced Freeh's "independent" report on PSU - PSU2LSU
Think I read that there weren't as many payments as mentioned(between 2000-08). But still, he was there, and paid. And isn't he still receiving retirement form PSU?
He receives his pension from the State of Pennsylvania. The payments were as a independent contractor. He wasn't ...
his close friend was raping children Joe Paterno
I am a PSU fan but you can go through my post history. I've never defended Paterno. To say that Paterno and Sandusky were close friends is absurd. I lived in State College and it was pretty well known that they didn't really ...
whats the legal purpose for this part? not flaming, just curious. Since Penn State is not technically a state school and all
I could be wrong on this but this is my take. The state of PA is suing because they want(ed) the 60 million fine to benefit PA (and something else). So they...

re: Nail in Emmert's coffin: NCAA influenced Freeh's "independent" report on PSU - PSU2LSU
Penn State is not suing the NCAA. There are certain groups suing the NCAA like Jay Paterno along with some former PSU players. I think the state of PA is also suing the NCAA. Early on Penn State has made it clear it wants no part of these lawsuits but since they were named in the lawsuits the...
