re: What's the best .22 lr revolver to buy? - Boats n Hose
Heritage
I like this one. Cheap, and it works. Sleeps in my truck, I take it on the boat when I go out, sidearm for the woods. I got it pretty much strictly for snakes and pesky critters. For a sub-200 dollar gun it's held up great. ...

I've bass fished around cypress banks and grass mats most of my life, I'm just in the habit of hooking a fish and getting it to the boat quick, tight drag. Plus I snag a lot, I'd break off too much with 8lb But I see your point ...

I use suffix on a lot if my rods and it's fine but still has a lot of memory. My favorite mono that I use is 12# sunline for my bass t-rig rod. ...

Stiffer for a given # test than other monos, the amount of memory it has is god awful, it knicks easier. I mean it gets the job done, but everything bad about mono is worse with big game. And better lines aren't much more expensive. ...
I would like to hear the reasons why mono over braid?
I still use it, but I really just hate thin braid. The way it kinda makes noise/vibration when it runs along the guides, no give to it, rougher on your thumb casting, cuts wet skin like nobody's business, expensive. It's somet...

Yep. I have used a 9.9hp 4 stroke for frogging though and the fuel consumption is amazing. Like, you can putt around half the night and it looks like the line the fuel was at on the tank has not moved. Hard to even burn half a 3 gallon tank in a full night with a loaded boat. ...
