re: Eagles May Have Interest In Mark Ingram - boxcar willie
plenty of RB's will be available in the draft that are every bit as good as Ingram and can be acquired with a mid to late round pick and for way less money. Josh Robinson, Terrance Magee, Cameron Artis-Payne, Malcolm Brown. We could even get a much better back if we want to burn a 2nd or 3rd round ...

re: Star ratings fail again - boxcar willie
Jalen Collins is projected as a mid 1st round pick. Coming out of high school, he was rated a 3 star and only got offers from 3 schools. LSU, Ole Miss and Memphis. So much for the star ratings
regardless of all the negativity towards your post, it still points out that Miles and sta...

re: Frank Herron working hard this offseason - boxcar willie
I hope he isn't to set on the little DT's. (finally got rid of the guy who was in love with little LB's). Would be good to have one starting DT in that 325-350 range (Valentine), then maybe one small DT in that 290-310 range. ...

re: Chavis felt his defense was under unnecessary strain? - boxcar willie
Should read at A&M with a prolific offense to work a long with, and a culture focused solely on offense,
You should take a look at the recruits they have signed lately on defense. Chavis will have plenty of talent to work with on defense over there. Also if it was a culture focus...

re: Chavis felt his defense was under unnecessary strain? - boxcar willie
AT TAM his defense won't have to carry the team like it did at LSU. With a prolific offense to work a long with, his defense wont be under as much 'unnecessary strain'. Stats will suffer, but he is not talking about stats. 15 pages arguing that?...

re: Chavis felt his defense was under unnecessary strain? - boxcar willie
He's not talking about stats. Sure his defenses will have worse stats at TAM than at LSU, but, from his point of view, so what. Seems he felt to much was placed on his defense to win games. Didn't get much help from the offense at LSU. Hard to disagree with that. Sure, slowing down the game and TOP...

re: The one thing that nobody mentions about the offense last year - boxcar willie
the problems with this recieving core go much farther than just drops. They had trouble getting off the line an getting any sort of separation all season. Though they be great on paper, in actual play they were the worst group ever at LSU. They had as bad a season as the QB's and contributed to thei...

re: More Q&A from Cam Cameron Part 3 of 3 - boxcar willie
"if your going to get a higher percentage of completions for your QB's your going to have to get easier throws for your QB's. You obviously need to make a change by making improvements to your scheme and excecution" that in itself gives me hope for a much improved offense next season. At least t...

re: The "stubbornness" of Les Miles - boxcar willie
Miles has proven over and over again that he will go with the younger player over seniority once that player PROVES himself. He did it with White and Robinson over Collins and Mills at CB recently, as well as Beckwith over Welter, and Jefferson over Lee. No reason to believe he won't go with Harris ...
Really? How could you not expect him to run fast? Have you seen him run? Everyone knew he would run fast.
I don't think people expected him to be that fast. I thought he was more of a 4.55 guy. He was never known as a flat out burner like that. You never heard his name as...
But not to take away from the thread too much, times are obviously marked up, and partly just because the quality they use to measure times is so much better at the combine
of course that's true also.
If he set back in the shotgun and threw passes, he'd still have to hit the damn people.
what is your major malfunction?
