Was in the Henderson area a few weeks ago, it was a little muddy. I spoke to someone who fished around Verret last week and caught quite a few nice ones in the muddy water. About 3ft on some heavy cover. That's about all the info I got. Sorry nothing more recent....

The best thing to do is catch the problem early. We had a couple of strays show up in our back yard one day. They were only kittens at the time, but old enough to be fixed. Took them to get neutered and let them go in our back yard. Now I'm constantly finding dead mice and moles (them SOBs need ...

I haven't been there in a while. But I read that in the 90's they stopped draining the lake. I think it was because it was messing with the bird migrations or some BS like that. Ever since then the fishing hasn't been as good....
| Outdoor Board|| re: Anyone fish Lake Martin recently ? - PillageUrVillage on 2/24/14 at 1:50 pm|
I've pulled in quite a few nice ones over there in the past. But, it was tough fishing. They were few and far between. So, I guess nothing has changed.

| Movie/TV Board|| re: The Desolation of Smaug - PillageUrVillage on 2/4/14 at 10:13 am|
My only complaint about the movie is that they have to change up the story to sell it to a larger audience (those that haven't read, and do not care about, the book). They are in it for the money after all.
Going word for word out of the book would be wonderful to someone like me. But I can see...
