re: Robert Foster is a beast. - sarc
It had everything to do with seniority. He saw he was better than White, but White started and played. He obviously didn't handle it well with a bad attitude.
You're claiming that the lack of PT caused him to have a bad attitude. How do you know that he didn't come in with a ...

Yep. And Cam Sims worked his way into the rotation last year as a true freshman though mainly as a blocker. I'm not questioning Foster's talent at all. I think he's a legitimate 5 star talent. Just saying that his lack of PT last year probably had very little to do with seniority. ...

Sounds like we just need another RT to have a pretty good 2 deep. Grant Hill certainly could've filled that role. Lester Cotton could step in there when he joins in the summer...

If you think about it, almost every DB who had a role except Cyrus seemed like a liability in coverage at times: Sylve, EJ, TB, LC, Geno, Jarrick, Perry, Washington. Even when you take into account the effects of more prolific offenses, you'd expect a better result with the athletes we have. Leads m...

re: *** Official FOOTBALL IS KINDA BACK Practice Thread *** - sarc
I remember his freshman year he came up and made strong, physical tackles from the CB spot. That combined with his play in coverage indicated he could be a complete, elite CB. Last year he had 2 or 3 very prominent missed tackles late in the season. I don't know for sure, but it could be due to ...

Yep. Cyrus really excelled at jamming at the line then hand-checking down the field enough to disrupt timing but not quite enough to draw a flag. I'm sure that's something opposing coaches will be asking the refs to look for this year ...

A few more tidbits from the PC: -- Specialists played well though stats won't show it. Missed two 55-yard FGs. -- Eddie Jackson playing well at safety after moving there this week. Tony Brown and Maurice Smith also looking good. -- Still trying to determine if Eddie Jackson is a long-term s...
I never heard that as a legit reason. That was all speculation. I made more sense that they put him back there for depth reasons.
RB depth was definitely a factor after Dee Hart's injury in the summer.
Meh, i can't remember the last time a QB played exceptionally well...
Anyone who was really paying attention(most weren't) knew that Blake Sims had talent and could be successful.
I think there was a lot more reason to be skeptical about BS than there was for optimism. And I was never in the "we wouldn't have brought Coker in if we weren't going ...
