Are you guys looking at the right years for Shaq? By 05 and 06 he was in serious decline and putting up the worst numbers of his career. ...

re: Dear admins, Can we get a sticky - brmark70816
Why would they do vice versa again? Hire a GM and stick him with Monty? Dell needs to pick his own guy (I have a feeling we'd be happy with a Dell coaching hire) or fire them both and let the next GM bring in his coach.
The team has to make a decision on Demps first. If they pick u...

re: Dear admins, Can we get a sticky - brmark70816
I don't understand how the team can make a decision on the coach, who has one year left on his contract, before they make a decision on the GM, who's contract runs out at the end of the season (team has an option for one more season). How would that work? I could understand if they hired a GM and th...

re: Holiday 18th best PG according to NBA personnel rankings - brmark70816
No MCW? I'm thinking he should be at least top 25. Also, Brandon Knight seems a bit low. The trade must have really hurt his stock. He was getting pub similar to Jeff Teague. I could see him borderline top 15. I pretty shocked Holiday is still getting top 20 recognition. Missing almost 50 games ...

re: The Raid Redemption - brmark70816
Both movies were great, but part 2 took it to another level. It was the best martial arts movies since Ong Bak or maybe D13 (I haven't seen the re-make "Brick Mansions" yet). Btw, Tony Jaa has started making movies again. I saw the Protector 2 and it was just horrible. Was a real let down. Ong B...

re: Last Week Tonight With John Oliver hammered the NCAA - brmark70816
We have heard about struggling universities for years. But the math doesn't add up. College athletics bring in billions and that is before contributions. There is a huge. chunk of missing revenue. I'm against paying players but that argument about not enough money doesn't really hold any water.....

I think the fab 5 kind of looked for that adversary. I want to say there was a bit of the same thing when they played UNC the next season with Montross. Another white 7 footer that won a ton of awards.....
And the cap space can be used to sign players. Al Jefferson to an all time awful Charlotte has worked out pretty well. Other moves, obviously, have not for bad teams. No perfect way. re: A current all-NBA team would wreck the dream team - brmark70816
He was one of the reasons. I just remember reading in Robinson's autobiography how tough Sabonis was and always seemed to get the better of him. Maybe a lot of that comes from how humble Robinson is/was. There is no doubt they were pretty even up though. Given that the whole 88 Olympic team was depe...

re: A current all-NBA team would wreck the dream team - brmark70816
Another flaw in this thread is that people think all of the teams the Dream Team faced were weak. Some of those Olympic teams were stocked with future and current NBA players that were more versed in international play (a topic not brought up in this thread at all.. what format are they playing?). I...

So we downgrade Bird because of his back and Magic cause he might be a bit rusty after sitting out a year. But George, Davis and Durant are magically healed and 100% to play if the teams were put against each other today? Also, let me say something pretty controversial here. The best player on t...
I am younger and will say that westbrook (spelling) is the 15s only advantage, they get killed by the bigs and MJ
For some reason, this whole thread seems to paint a picture that 15's PGs would destroy the Dream Team PGs. Somehow the two greatest passing PGs in league history would...

re: Arrow: Season 3 Thread - brmark70816
Yeah, I thought his conversation with Dig made more sense. He wants revenge or at least another shot to prove himself. Having that sword driven through him had to have some kind of emotional impact (fear, doubt, etc..). He just can't more forward until things are settled with the league. Merlin's ca...

I love Robert Duvall. But you went back too far. 30 years puts the cut off around 1985. So you have to take off quite a few movies. Also, the fact you left out "the Apostle" is just a sin. It is one of the greatest performances I've ever seen. Just a tremendous movie.. ...
