basically the match is fixed but many moves are real.
I forgot to mention farmer burns.
so it hasn't always been a goof or complete goof.

In the older days pro wrestling was legit. We are talking frank and Karl gotch, hackenschmidt, Lou thesv etc.
It wasn't until the 80's when it was publicly broadcasted when people doubted the authenticity of it. See dr. Dave Schultz ...
