Had a decent one. Filled up with gadwalls and a stray mallard here or there. Wife killed her first ducks Saturday morning. She is officially hooked! Only she would pull a double on a mallard drake and hen with one shot as her first kills. She makes me sick..... well except for the part where she coo...

The Remington 700 is still a great buy. Are they as good as they once were, no, but few things are. There's a reason it's been a best seller for so long...and I'm a Winchester guy, but to say a 700 is junk, that's preposterous.
Personally if I were thinking bolt gun for target and hunting you're gonna be hard pressed to beat a Tikka T3 for the money.I like them so well I have 3 different calibers in the same rifle and I'm stashing away for a fourth one. Before I did the AR .308 I'd go with a Tikka SS with some damn nice gl...

Yep. TriTronics G3 Flyway. I only put it on when we hunt or when we I'm working him. Its well worth the money when used correctly. Buy a good collar. Don't cut corners and try to get away with el cheapo collars. Oh and something you might want to think about before you put it on him. Wrap the collar...

Remount the scope. Pay really close attention to detail. Before you mount it, run the clicks all the way to limit. Then go to the other limit while counting the clicks. Then go back half the amount of clicks. I ran into the same issue you're having and found my rear mount wasn't centered. I should'v...
How does the A5 compare vs the A400 in terms of recoil and ease of taking apart and cleaning?
The A5 is easier to break down and clean and it's not even close. It does recoil a little more than the Beretta with K/O due to it being an inertia gun. The Inflex pad on the A5 is legit.
