I dont think it is simple minded at all. It was very simple minded. See my response above.
Were you expecting a dissertation at 10:40 on the OT? It is simple minded to think that "hearing" with a specialized organ is the only way to detect sound....
Nice reply, but kind of simple-minded. What would cause an organism with no mechanism to detect sound to even "know" (can't think of a better word right this second) that there is such a thing as sound and a system to detect and interpret it needs to be developed?
I dont think ...
What do y'all do with the cattle when storms come
Pretty sure they just let them ride it out, then round up what they can after the storm. Cows can inflate their stomaches and float pretty effortlessly. I think they found some of Mr Earls cows like 20 miles out in the gulf af...

Cool. I know him from running field trips down in the delta. He operates an airboat for us or runs us down south pass... whatever we need. Really great guy. He told me that he has never left the delta for a storm! Ties his skiff up in the willows and rides it out! He may not do that anymore...
quote: Fwiw, I'd answer that at some point in time, main pass created land. More recently, it has not. You'll say its because of lack of sediment, to which I'll ask where do people get all that dirt they put in their yard every year. You'll mumble incoherently about main pass, to which I'll ...
So, no one has given me an explanation about how Main Pass differs from a planned diversion. Looks by these photos that no land mass has been built in the delta of Main Pass. So my point is, if Main Pass has not been building land in last fifty years, why will the diversions work? [/quote...

Main pass is a distributary in the cubits gap sub delta. It is in the detoriation phase of the sub delta progression. Google sub delta life span. They build for a century or so and then degrade. It is cyclical. In the early 1800's, that was all open water, till a fisherman named cubit cut a...
