re: The Office Season 2 - HumbleNinja
I take a lot of pride in that for some reason I watched the show from the beginning. What hooked me was the Basketball episode in season 1. Michael trying to choose the team, and then watching him be absolutely terrible . I didn't read this whole thread, but I am damned sure i agree with it...

re: I Thought SPY was terrible. - HumbleNinja
Aside from the 4 or 5 posters on this board that don't like the fat lady, everyone else, critics included, seem to enjoy the movie. I'll probably check it out when I have some downtime. Though I admit from the trailers it looked like shit, but given the positive response I'll see what the buzz is...

re: A Most Violent Year - HumbleNinja
Just saw this on my flight back to houston...gotta say, Oscar Isaac's performance really reminded me of Pacino in the latter half of Godfather 1. I thought the movie itself was pretty good, but the standout was Isaac for sure.
Just watched this the other day. I really enjoyed it....

Yeah I was happy to seen it screened up here in Ann Arbor, even if it took Harbaugh for it to happen. I don't want the Muslim and North African students to feel unsafe one bit or be discriminated against on our campus, but I honestly don't feel the movie is meant to portray their race in a negative ...

re: What is the board's opinion on lacrosse? - HumbleNinja
It's a hell of a lot of fun to play. It's popular in many of the same regions that hockey is (Northeast, parts of the midwest, Colorado) so I don't expect the south to be huge fans of the sport. Though it is not as fun as hockey is to watch live....

Veep is great. I used to think it was the best comedy on tv, but Silicon Valley does have me questioning that a bit. Still may give the nod to Veep though....

re: Which of these 3 opening Thursda college football games interests you the most? - HumbleNinja
I would say that Utah game was my most miserable in person viewing (offense pathetic, weather terrible, feeling of doom) but then I remembered I witnessed the loss to Toledo at the Big House with my father, who played for the Rockets back in the day. So yeah that has to be number 1. I'm very ex...

re: It Follows (2015) - HumbleNinja
Saw it last night. Loved it. The score and cinematography really pushed this film over the top. That opening scene set the tone perfectly, so well done. As a resident of Michigan, couldn't help laughing that they used the city of Detroit so well to keep the erie and ominous feel the movie going w...
