| Outdoor Board|| re: Anyone own a CZ Rimfire (452 or 455)? - TigerTaco on 1/22/15 at 2:34 pm|
My kids have a CZ 452 Scout. Out of the ammo I have tried, CCI Green Tag and CCI SV were 5 shots one hole results. I have some other target ammo to try the next time out, but I doubt it can get much better. I was surprised, but M22 shot slightly better than the CCI in my 10/22 with a target barre...

I had a '99. The above is accurate. My wife's knees would touch the dash with the car seat in the back. I soon bought a full sized truck. they didn't have the 4 door Tacomas at the time. No wa...

Acme Brick on Barringer Foreman sells a preformed fireplace kit in the $1000-1200 range. The pieces are cement block that fit together tongue and groove style. You cover it with the exterior brick or stone of your choice. A pallet of bricks is about $650. Not sure if one pallet will be enough an...

| Outdoor Board|| re: How to repair a hole in a kayak? *UPDATE - TigerTaco on 11/22/14 at 4:46 pm|
If you buy the GFlex I mentioned, you'll only have to repair it once. Now that I see that there are holes rather than a crack, I recommend also buying colloidal silica/cabosil to thicken the GFlex epoxy to Vaseline consistency so that you can fill the holes. Then cover with fiberglass and GFlex. Not...
| Outdoor Board|| re: How to repair a hole in a kayak? *UPDATE - TigerTaco on 11/21/14 at 1:49 pm|
Pick up a kit of West System GFlex epoxy and a small piece of 4 or 6 oz. fiberglass cloth from West Marine. Standard epoxy doesn't stick very well to polyethylene. If you go the GFlex route, check the info that comes in the pack or West System's website as the prep varies per type of plastic. For...

I've painted a fiberglass boat with Interlux Perfection 2 part paint. Not sure they make a flat version though. I assume that is what you will want on a pirogue if you use it for hunting. The Interlux I used has a high gloss that has been very durable. The fumes are bad so you will need an inexp...

If you can find one, I highly recommend a CZ Scout. My kids have one and it's a great shooter. I put a Nikon rimfire scope on it. A dime can cover a 5 shot group at 50 yards with CCI ammo.
