LBJ was notorious for his back room dealing and it's entirely possible he had people killed for his own benefit.

These type of carriers operate on an add-on basis. When Vision Airlines was flying out of Baton Rouge a few years back I looked into flying to Ft Walton just for the heck of it. Their advertised price was $39 one way. After all the fees it was just at $100 one way...so a $160 trip for two was really...

Funny but true story..I remember going to a game sometime in the late 60's or early 70's and all I had was a twenty dollar bill. The guy selling tickets didn't have change so he just told me to go on in. As I recall, I sat right behind home plate and there not 100 people in the stands.

I can't agree that NO is an anti-LSU place - actually when the Times Picayune was 7 days a week, it's LSU coverage was as good as The Advocate's.
I don't buy the Benson hates LSU but if true maybe it's because he felt threatened when the Saints played the Dolphins after Katrina in Tiger Stadium.
