Finally! A fix. Went to the "Help" menu in the Firefox browser window, clicked on "Troubleshooting Information" and in the pop-up window that came next, clicked "Reset Firefox." Boom! All good.
Whew! TD addiction back on track.
Thanks again, everyone....

I couldn't find a Mac version of Malwarebytes. In a discussion forum about it, one of the recommended apps was "avast!" I'm running that scan right now....

I've installed about three different scanning apps, added an ad blocking plug-in, and I am still having the problem. One scan found two infections, but failed to quarantine them. This sucks.
Anyway, thanks again for the help....

It looks like key words are linking to some kind of pop-up ad service whenever my mouse rolls over the words. How do I get rid of this? Anyone?
the last 500+ years SWLA has not benefitted from the river at all.
Not exactly. The sand on the beaches of southwest Louisiana are a product of Mississippi River siltation. The levees have starved those beaches of sand, and they have reversed from growing to receding horribly.

So, a governor might or might not have closed some lanes on a bridge for political retribution, and it was national news for weeks. Almost as bad as denying veterans their monument.
