The best of both worlds is the Jackson Cuda! I've got one and love it. I can keep up with anyone except maybe the Hobie (mirage drive) and I can stand up easily. :nana:...

Personally, I couldn't stand the fact that I couldn't stand. So I sold my cheap kayak and bought one that allowed me to stand (Jackson Cuda). Some people sit all day with no problem though....

I have the Cuda 12. Absolutely no complaints. I have no problem standing to fish and I even paddle a lot while standing. It's a great yak.
I have never been in a KC so I can't compare that one.
