Not sure why anyone has posted in this thread, since an LLM is needed to have a political opinion.
Also, the case cite in my signature is hilarious. Read and have a legal laugh if you're bored this afternoon....

Kansas isn't so bad. You get used to it. Stop in Colby or Hays when driving across on 70, a lot of the gas stations off the other exits gouge people on prices. ...

As a small business owner in Kansas who benefits from the policy, I still think it's a terrible implementation. It's all on brownback, he picked the legislature. The moderates lost in the primary and were replaced by rubber stamps.
Paul Davis will make it closer than normal, but Kansas isn't ele...

| Arkansas Sports Board|| re: making arkansas wet state wide - Ham Malone on 6/17/14 at 1:22 pm|
Oklahoma doesn't allow casinos. Indians get a special exemption. The same will be true in Arkansas.
Read up on it, a tribe wanted to put in a casino in Fort Smith a few years back and gave up on it because of all the hurdles to jump.
| Arkansas Sports Board|| re: making arkansas wet state wide - Ham Malone on 6/16/14 at 9:49 am|
It's a lot tougher to get an Indian casino into a state that doesn't allow that type of gambling already. A legal argument would have to be made that the gambling at Oaklawn is equivalent to what an Indian casino would allow. And even if that was accepted, they would still have to work out an agre...
| SEC Rant|| re: 20k to be in KC stadium for World Cup? - Ham Malone on 6/16/14 at 9:39 am|
I think the big watch party is on the Missouri side in P&L. KC has come a long way with soccer, from the days of an empty Arrowhead and then playing in a minor league baseball park on the Kansas side. Now they have a great facility in KCK that sells out every game and a team that won MLS last year...

Do you not understand the concept of minor league baseball? Its fun to go out and see some future stars, and the AA level is probably the most exciting level of ball since you end up with too many old guys hanging on at AAA.
The Royals typically have a strong farm system and then screw it up on ...
