re: Phil Jackson on Kobe and MJ - imraged on 7/23/14 at 5:21 pmRaw volume stats mean next to nothing when ranking players. I suppose people are entitled to their own opinion but LeBron has had 5 seasons better than Kobe's peak. I personally value prime/peak over longevity....

re: Phil Jackson on Kobe and MJ - imraged on 7/22/14 at 11:34 pm
As far as Lebron, he has a ways to go to challenge Kobe's status.
Unless you're ignoring everything besides accolades LeBron passed up Kobe a couple of years ago....
re: Is Golden State really this stupid? - imraged on 6/23/14 at 1:27 amLove ON: 111.6 ORTG/106.0 DRTG
Love OFF: 101.1 ORTG/106.5 DRTG
So the TWolves go from top 3 offense in the league to bottom 3 when he goes to the bench.
Definitely Love's fault they can't make it to the playoffs....
re: Where does Tony Parker rank on your current NBA point guards list? - imraged on 6/1/14 at 12:28 pm
Parker usually kills CP3 when they go head to head and CP3 has never beaten Tony in a playoff series.
This means next to nothing when comparing where they are relative to the rest of the league.
Fact is Tony has been the Spurs best player for a long time
re: So the Heat are not as good this year - imraged on 5/31/14 at 3:11 amHealthy Wade this postseason > injured Wade last postseason
Obviously they didn't have the same regular season success but with Wade and Bosh healthy they're in better shape for the finals than they were either of the past two seasons....
re: And James is supposed to be the GOAT??? - imraged on 5/28/14 at 11:33 pm:rolleyes:
On the topic of tonight's game, along with the 8 point game against the Mavs in '11, LeBron's not the type of player to force things when he's struggling so along with him playing limited minutes the point total isn't shocking.
At any rate I'd hardly base my opinion of a player's ca...
re: Lebron passes MJ tn - imraged on 5/27/14 at 4:25 amIt wasn't my intention to imply that Jordan needing Pippen was a negative. Only a few of the all-time greats have managed to win a championship without at least one other All-NBA caliber player.
Wade averaged 20 ppg on below average efficiency against the Spurs and was even worse against the Pace...
re: Lebron passes MJ tn - imraged on 5/27/14 at 1:44 amJordan didn't win shite until Pippen came along.
In the end LeBron has done the lion's share of the work anyway outside of '11. Wade was shaky in '12 and Bosh was hurt. Wade was downright terrible much of '13 as was Bosh....
re: Lebron passes MJ tn - imraged on 5/27/14 at 1:01 amIf he keeps up this level of play throughout the Finals, win or lose, he'll put himself without a doubt in the top 6.
re: Will we ever see a return to dominant Centers in the NBA? - imraged on 5/20/14 at 11:26 pmThe lack of illegal defense has severely limited the volume numbers of traditional back-to-basket big men. Ball movement and three point shooting are more important than ever to exploit defenses that load up on one side of the court and pack the paint.
That being said there's a great group of you...
re: NBA: Raising age limit from 19 to 20 'top priority' - imraged on 4/19/14 at 1:58 amHe was a second round pick and was with the Knicks for a portion of this season.
To say he was a LeBron-type prospect is stretching it; he was never considered a stand-alone in that class above Barnes (two years of college didn't seem to help him much), Kanter, and Irving....
re: Has Kobe Ever Been The Best Player In The League? - imraged on 2/10/14 at 1:15 am'00-'02 - Shaq
'03-'05 - Duncan/Garnett
'06 - Dirk/Wade
'07 - Dirk/Duncan
'08 - CP3/Kobe
'09 - LeBron
'10 - LeBron
'11 - Dirk
'12 - LeBron
'13 - LeBron
'08 is the only year he's in the argument for #1. Excluding '05 he was at least top 5 from '00 to '10....

Still getting trolled by Bucc
BTW the first response was a fact. Neither 247 nor Rivals had Fournette #1. So I don't see how he can be considered "far beyond everyone else."...
