-9mm better knockdown( even if true, i don't see a significant difference from .380)
"Knockdown power" is a very misleading term. If he had said 9mm has more muzzle energy than 380, then yes I would agree with him that the difference is measurable.
-9mm much more availab...

That's pretty interesting. But I'm sure that number increases significantly if using 200gr or 230gr rounds. Regardless, nice observations as always....
Really? How many ounces would you want a gun to weigh for it to not be heavy? The XDs 45 ACP weighs 21.5 oz empty.
He may be talking about with the ammo. I think the XDs is a decent handgun but unless you just really love 45, I would give the XDs9 a look too. 1. You get more...
hogdaddy
:rotflmao: Didn't expect that when I opened this thread. But to the OP, as you can see I like the TLR-1. I now have a TLR-1HL on it that puts out 630 lumens. It is an insanely awesome light. And KR is right. Same gun for the most part but I added some flare. [...

Tactical Response Fighting Rifle - After Action Report (Warning TL;DR) - bapple
So as been discussed here, I went to Tactical Response in Camden, TN this weekend. Maybe I'll make a video AAR with some footage or something if ...

re: Bapple.........question on barrel length and squib loads - bapple
It would depend on the burn rate specifically, even if they're all the same. But to put a basic number on it (without any research beforehand), I'd guess probably 100 inches or more. Remember, the bullet is also flying extremely fast and inertia is coming into play....
dstone12
Your question is very simple and can be almost fully answered with two words: Burn Rate If you have an extremely fast-burning powder (like Bullseye or WST), the bullet will reach it's max velocity much quicker. If you're using a slower burning powder (li...
