Anytime a company uses "perfection" they are usually too cocky to see that some competition may be better.
I held the Sig P320 the other day in your store. It's a decent piece but something about that back just bothers me. They use the exact same slide from the 250/290 with a different internal m...
But you sold your SR9c, didn't you?
I did. Only because of this chain of events:
1. My best friend wanted an affordable first pistol
2. My brother's friend was selling an M&P9c for $400 and included a holster
3. I said frick yeah

Man, this thread got derailed a long time ago.
Anyway, for the OP, the only 1911s I have had a chance to review and shoot at length are:
S&W 1911 Tactical (railed) - My personal gun
S&W 1911 Scandium
Springfield Loaded Champion (commander size)
Ruger SR1911 Commander
Of these, I think th...
It's not for concealment. I like that my XD had 13 round magazines, and prefer something that is comparable.
You can purchase Chip McCormick or Wilson Combat mags in 10 round capacity for a 1911 if you choose one. They hang out the grip a bit but are a nice square number at 10.
I like the stock sights thought. I get a good clear sight pitcture it seems with all the rugers ive shot
I find the rear aperture is too small, the top of the sights are rounded when they should be flat, and the two rear dots are way too small.
I saw this little .380 and I am considering picking it up and a pocket carry.
It's a really dumb concept, and for good reason.
Here are the downsides:
1. It's a 380 that has competition chambered in 9mm that is dimensionally smaller than it is.
2. It isn't chambered in 9mm...

My suggestion is stainless tumbling. It is pricey for sure but you never have to replace your media after buying and it is extremely consistent. Here's a video I did a while back on tumbling:
