| Outdoor Board|| re: The Army wants a harder-hitting pistol - Clames on 7/4/14 at 9:57 pm|
H&K USP is a better combat pistol. Tank-tough, can live on +p ammo, easier to field strip, has a decocker (Army requirement). A rail is largely useless....

And only applies to uniformed state actors. Who are we fighting now that represents a uniformed, state-backed threat?
Nobody. JHP perfectly legal against terrorists and insurgents....
| Outdoor Board|| re: The Army wants a harder-hitting pistol - Clames on 7/4/14 at 6:11 pm|
The Army, as a whole, really doesn't.
9mm is a perfectly capable round and the M9 is a perfectly capable combat pistol. 99% of the whiners in the service today never served when the M1911 was still issued and are just parroting complaints they have no real world experience with. The M9 is tougher...
What some call a "combat round" is nothing but a glorified term for a self defense round. No one in their right mind would willingly go into combat with nothing more than a handgun, when they could use a rifle. As Colonel Cooper said. A handgun is just something to get you to a rifle or shotg...
220 grain hard cast. 1300fps. Stupid.
Either somebody fibbed on that load or you are in need of double checking your setup. That's WAY above safe. 1200 fps at 220gr is pushing it.
Please enlighten me on what the 10mm was originally designed for.
Originally envisioned as a do-all combat round.

No, no it wasn't.

That's normal, there's no such thing as an engine that doesn't burn a little oil over the course of an oil change interval. Half a quart in a V8 over 5000 miles is nothing to worry about and really good for a GM, especially if you are using non-synthetic 5w30. You can try switching to a 10w30 full s...

What you fail to understand is that is already a simple problem, breaking it down further is pointless. I use Stihl .080 round line no matter the brand. Never use that gimmick string as a...
