| Tiger Rant|| re: Les Miles Winning Percentage at LSU - tigger1 on 12/12/13 at 8:57 pm|
BBJ LSU plays year in and year out one of the top schedules in football.
Ohio St plays near no body.
Alabama other than the SEC plays no one.
Yet year in and year out they get passes to championship games based on the most part thin air.
Notre Dame getting to the game was a total joke.

Crimson Tide is also a Civil War term, used by many when talking about the rebel units charging.
The Confederate Battle Flags is what the eye witnesses were talking about when looking at a charge by a large number of infantry units, it looks like a red tide coming at you.
So for a writer to us...

The baseball team started the purple and gold before Dr. Coates, about 5 months before.
Many Louisiana infantry units wore blue at the start of the war.
Even the famous Louisiana Tigers (Wheat's 1st special battalion) wore blue vest (the Tiger Rifles) over their shirts at the start, and one co...

Read the topic head,.....Best Doc Holliday?
No case at all for Val, to large, wrong accent, and a great show for a movie.
Dennis is far closer to Doc than Val.
| Movie/TV Board|| re: Best Doc Holliday? - tigger1 on 11/19/13 at 7:58 pm|
Dennis Quaid's Doc Holliday is closer to the real man. Dennis has the correct accent that Doc likely had, as he was from Georgia. Dennis also has lost a lot of weight to play him correctly, as Doc was always rail thin, and by the time he was in Tombstone a very sick man with a bad case of TB.

LSU was never deaf valley, fact.
It is not until the mid 80's you hear people calling it deaf valley.
LSU using the fight song Tiger rag, dates before the 30's. Clemson did not use it until long after that (talking decades)
Walter Riggs gave Clemson the nickname Tigers and that isn't until...

HeadChange a better usage of word Theory is to go back to the Greek and Old English:

That is my point in this long debate there is no proof for evolution, yet today after near 3 decades of teaching to the test, there are many making statements of evolution being a fact over theory.

What makes Band of Brothers work so well is the fact that in the ETO you had fewer casualties than the PTO.
Also by the time Easy company starts to lose most of it's important men, Winter's had been promoted to Major, and the stories shifts to the him.
