re: Saints agree to terms with Jairus Byrd! - seibert23
Where are they getting the cap space from!? Makes me beleive we'll be recieving those two 1st rd picks after all. If not, I just don't understand how we keeping Graham after this PLUS signing our draft picks! Really worried about extending Jordan, Hicks. Don't get me wrong peeps, I LOVE THE BYRD SI...

How in the hell did that happen!? I'm all for signing a playmaker but we were just b*tching about back loading contracts which put us in this situation to begin with. Until the contract surfaces id have to believe hes almost playing for free this yr(not rlly but you get my point). Anyway, here's to ...

Good move.. He's not the ballhawk we all keep wishing for but athletic, quick, lays the wood. As someone said recently he can flat-out play football. I could watch that hit over and over and over and over.... WHO DAT!...

re: Non 1st Rd WR Discussion - seibert23
I second the Brandon Coleman in the 3rd rd pick. If that is we go Defense Rd1 (hopefully). Huge bodied receiver with good hands, maybe a little fine tuning on the route running from a few reviews I've come across but that can be coached. Another small school hopeful that caught my attention was John...

"The buzz that this is a deep class can only inhibit teams from jumping up also. " Very good point Blues. Just bc were willing to move back doesn't necessarily mean another team is wanting to advance. After watching the WR drills, I think I could pass up Benjamin for Coleman from Rutgers. My op...

Some other intriguing hopefuls are John Brown from Pittsburg St. Nice speed, quick in and out of his cuts and looked to have good focus making his catches. Although I liked Benjamin in the beginning, I think I would much rather Brandon Coleman from Rutgers. Both massive young young men but haven't h...

Combine/Draft Question - seibert23
First off, my apology for creating another thread to simply ask a question, I know some of the well knowns around here frown upon it. Here it is: I keep hearing many analysts say this is the deepest draft they've seen. I'm assuming they meaning deepest of average prospects. With that said, I kno...

I brought him up in another thread a little bit ago. Very intriguing small school NFL hopeful. Looked good in all of his drills. A little skeptical about his first 40 run at 4.30... Think it could have been a clocking error but the young man has def caught my attention. ...

Few plays here and there but overall was a bit disappointing. Better QBs would've given us a better look at the DBs. Some of the big boys on the Oline looked a little clumsy/not very agile. The Dlind was the highlight on both teams all game....

re: Re-sign the O-Line - seibert23
We might have a replacement for DLP in Lelito. Hell, we have two draft picks on the practice squad in Andrew Tiller and Marcel Jones. I understand they weren't drafted for C role but as well we know CSP he likes versatility within his players. Between the three, maybe drafting a C may not such a dir...

re: should the saints draft JC Copeland in late rounds - seibert23
Yeah def not the best runner but I thoroughly enjoyed watching him advance to 2nd level of Defense and pop a LB or a creeping S. Although SP likes his FBs to have a little versatility. I think a good possibility a run 1st team (SF, Min, etc) would take him a lil earlier than most expect. He may kill...

In no way am I encouraging to move up to take Loston BUT I have noticed Loston seal some games up by either Interception or making a superb tackle. If we were to make a few moves in FA I hope it's for Defense in the secondary to be precise. CB, S, or possibly LB (if the right person becomes available).
