The road struggles have been well covered here. Clearly LSU has the physical tools to be competitive... they just don't seem to have their heads in quite the right place / don't seem quite comfortable when they travel. I'm not going to bother with fact checking this, but if I'm not mistaken, Valentine moved up significantly in the rankings this year compared to how he was rated coming into this school year.

By no means am I saying that LSU does not have student athletes that are clearly poor students; I'm sure there are more than a few that fit the criteria you're discussing. That being said, LSU does seem to fare well compared to most of the conference with regards to graduation rates.
