re: Is it legal to invest in the stock market in Iran ? - MStant1
The sanctions against Iran are being relaxed not lifted. We've had sanctions programs against Iran for 30+ years. I don't foresee in the near future a total lifting of sanctions against Iran. See my post above where I linked you to the current regs. For what you're wanting to do it is highly like...

As a US citizen there are very few things you can do in terms of transacting with/in Iran. While technically the sanctions with Iran are not considered comprehensive (i.e. Like Cuba), the sanctions are still very broad and far reaching as far as Iran is concerned.
Its still a steak, usually served with creamed spinach and a potato of sorts. I have nothing against a great steak, but its NYC. This doesnt even begin to discuss how your chances of getting a truly fantastic cut of meat at a steakhouse is not that great. Go to a place that isnt a steakhous...
Back to the steakhouse question, does a great steak ever taste any different regardless of where it is served?
Uhhhh yeah. Where one gets the beef, type of aging, length of aging, type of seasoning, and method of cooking can all greatly vary from place to place. Some of the old...
If you're dead set on a steakhouse and that's y'all's favorite style meal or something (I'm sure for many folks it is) then yeah that's a good idea. I, personally, would not travel to NYC and eat at a steakhouse.
Why? NYC has long been known for its steakhouses. It's the classic N...

The technology is certainly sufficient to make those markets more efficient, and in fact it's quite evident in the independent marketplaces (i.e. self-published books and music)[...
To me the difference between those innovations and 3D printing is that as soon as those new products became known I could immediately see how I would benefit from owning them. For me 3D printing doesn't hold out the same level of benefits for me personally. Would I print out plastic forks...

When people talk about "new" technologies in a manner that demonstrates their inability to get past the technology's current limitations always makes me laugh. Here is another great article written by Clifford Stoll in 1995. Even in 1995 people had trouble comprehending the possibilities of the ...

I think what he is trying to say is that Bitcoin much like the early days of PC's and the Internet is currently only appealing to politically motivated idealists and tech geeks.
