Wilson is our best WR imo
I just remember Lewis being a nightmare last year. None of the other WRs made much of an impression, but I haven't kept up with MSU since then.
More to the original question: I honestly think MSU and TAMU are pretty different teams to prepare against....

If you have White on Lewis I think that takes away MSU's best recieving threat. Lewis is legit, but White matches up well with him. Other than that I say focus on shutting down their running game. ...
We should've stacked the box from the get go.

Holding was not the reason.
The holding calls I was talking about didn't excuse the poor positioning on the plays in question, but they turned 10 yard runs into 20 and 40+ yard runs....
Just man up and admit we were outplayed and out-schemed in the first half.
If you don't want to respond the particulars, that's your deal. But calling out someone's manhood because they disagree with you is ridiculous.
Wisky got the breaks in the first half. LSU's D played b...

Pretty sure Debo gave Gordon his hip flexor trouble on theat cutback around the 1:50 mark. Jones smoked him on that tackle. Love watching that kid play....

In the first quarter, for sure.
O Line play left much to be desired.
The Wisc D was selling out against the run and we missed two first down throws that, in retrospect, should've been completions (long throw to Dural and the dro...

A couple of calls go the other way and we win the 2nd quarter.
The second missed PI on Dural came right before the Dickson fumble. Before that the defense hand clamped down pretty good....

Looking at the first half again, things weren't so bad as they appeared in the first game of the season.
Wisconsin got every break in the first half. The first scoring drive had a couple missed holding calls (they were marginal, but could've been called), the field goal came after a minimal drive...

We get back to standard time in November.
Looking forward to Les ...

No mention of Aubie's 2 QBs?
I'd put Jennings higher on that list. His QBR was higher than a bunch of those guys iirc. ...

Hoko looked a bit lost in the first half. We ran to the right a lot and never had a push for the first half. Whatever adjustments they made worked because Hoko/Pocic looked a lot better in the 3rd and 4th quarter. I know Wisc has some injuries, but the run game was picking up before that. ...
There are at least three other teams in the SEC who are better than us at this point, Alabama, Texas A&M, and Georgia
I'm not sold on Bama yet. They didn't look any better than LSU, IMO.

According to Jeff Marx, who is writing a book on LSU off field stories including a chapter on Leonard Fournette, "Buga" was a term thrown around in Fournette's home. The slogan was "Buga, no sug...

I can see LSU winning big, but even there I think Wisconsin will move the ball on the ground a fair amount. In other words, even if LSU dominates it won't be because Wisconsin's offense is awful.
I expect LSU to win comfortably, but that's mostly based on my confidence in special teams, LSU's D'...

I was surprised at how many "big" runs USCe seemed to give up consistently. Seemed like a lot of 6-8 yard runs on 2nd and short. So I guess I can appreciate HBC's shock
USCe got pushed around for 4-5 plays at a time throughout the game. Then again, every time Stave looked to pass it looked...

I watched the cap one bowl recently and Gordon made a number of 6 to 12 yard runs right up the gut. The only jet sweep I saw was a 20+ yard run from Clement (sp?). Wisconsin's rush attack is strong and carried them in that game. USCe was/is stellar, so Wisc's performance was definitely impressive. ...

| Tiger Rant|| Is LSU a young team? - inthebr on 8/21/14 at 10:32 pm|
It continues to be said that LSU is a young team and, therefore, are expected to finish fourth or worse in the SEC west. This notion is rather ubiquitous in the media and I've seen it said on this board.
My question to the rant is whether you agree that LSU is young?
LSU is starting (or have ...
