Pleasure bend (where all the camps are) is on the west side of lake des allemands, where highway 643 goes to the lake...sounds like they're going to possibly do some dredging in the area...

if it were me i'd go to the bend or okhissa.
if u want somewhere to stay on the cheap in the bend to just shower and sleep, check out alpine or midlake campground...

bought the ag revo stx (to try) and a couple new chronarchs recently (both same price), i like the chronarch much more than the revo, most of my stuff is paired with duckett rods which i use for bass and inshore, one of the lightest rods next to custom made stuff...

i'm going to have an 18' aluminum boat built (someone i know for $2500 inc trailer) with an extended transom so the back floats higher and i will be able to interchange a tiller handle outboard, long tail, and surface drive (frogs, fishing, and ducks)...

gotcha, well he's right ...the armada came and ran those birds out for the weekend, we didn't hunt our blinds offshore bc of that, not many ppl i know did much offshore, stayed in the marsh and shot limits of teal...the birds are there, it will be way better when the pressure dies down, going tomorr...

i'll usually use shad colors, and i'll mix it up depending on water clarity...I do like the bandit spring craw color, and i'll throw chart/black back or chart/blue back in there
can't go wrong with sexy shad 1.5s, i've never fished the red, so i don't know what the bait looks like
