re: The most iconic uniforms in sports - karmapol1ce
The 'C' that the Bears use has been utilized by other franchises/teams in other sports over the years to keep it from being truly iconic.
I would argue that copying something makes it iconic....

re: The most iconic uniforms in sports - karmapol1ce
would argue the Knicks if I was a Knicks fan.
hmm, interesting… you think so? i don't think there's anything to them outside of being a NY fan living in NYC. the blue and orange don't make that compelling a fashion choice. i don't see many people co-opting the look just because i...

re: The most iconic uniforms in sports - karmapol1ce
Kind of a hard dilineation between the team as a brand, the logo, and the actual uniform. In pro baseball, Pinstripes and Dodger Blues (especially for the LA logo. Ridiculous how many hats you see over seas). I add the White Sox, Red Sox and Cubs for hats. NBA, Lakers. Celtics a far second. In ...
no coincidence a thread aimed to prove lebron's a loser ends up being a pistons vs celtics debate. deflection at its finest.
you've turned it into that unfortunately. weirdly, the original intent of the thread was talking about winning and per year success. ...
Goes in with what I am saying. I think those teams are tougher than anything LBJ faced. They did win the championship two of the years they beat MJ in the playoffs.
see i think stuff like that matters. the fact that they won a championship in the years before MJ beat them. but ...
In the context of this conversation, why would it still be Ben Wallace?
i thought you were asking who the pistons center in '05-'07 and i think , "i think it would still be ben wallace around that time" before he retired we moved to this monroe now monroe/drummond era....
Ehhh...I really think the Knicks and Piston teams MJ played were tougher than anything LBJ played against. It's hard to gauge that based off of only records. I mean of course East teams of today beating up on the other shitty East teams will have decent records. You would really have to l...
To be fair, the East does suck arse in comparison to the current West. Not sure how to compare it historically though and there really is no fair way to do so IMO.
Didn't MJ beat Karl Malone and Magic who were both MVPs the previous year? How does that not count? By your standards they have to beat the MVP during his MVP year?
his point was dispelling the notion that Lebron's road through the eastern conference has been easier than others. s...
LBJ is a great player, and may end up as the GOAT;
i think it would take a LOTTTTTT for that to happen. I mean like a dominant winning five of the next five titles type run. other than that, i think he's out of the running for GOAT. the question is more whether he ends up in the to...
If this is to be done fairly, there's no way you could possibly have LBJ ranked higher than MJ based on more competition in the East and going 6 for 6.
