It's not earned in the US. I could understand if the US let others work in the US tax free, however, you and I both know this is not the case. So why should I pay taxes twice?
ETA: Especially when I am in the US for ~40 days/year. I could qualify...

As an expat I don't understand why the US is basically the only country that requires taxes on income acquired abroad. So I figuered I would ask the PT what they think about this.
BTW to qualify for an expat you have 3 options basically
1) You pay income tax in another country AND have residency...

I've traveled and lived abroad. I currently have residency in Kuwait due to work(:banghead:) and have traveled to Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, Canada, Qatar, UAE, Iraq and Iceland in the past year.
