Baseball is totally "instincts" which comes from knowing your players and knowing (not guessing) what to do...Bertman was the master.
Maineri has no instincts....period!

He pitched very good. His fastball was great in the high 90s and his change was spot on. He had almost no breaking ball which is why he may go down to work on that slider/curve.
He has really good stuff and will certainly be on a roster in the big leagues next year. He will probably be back wh...

Buck Showalter knows what he is doing. Best manager in baseball..
KG will survive this....might go down in a few weeks and then back up to finish the season....big jump to the show...will find out what he needs to work on in the off season...

I have followed LSU baseball for 40 years, having been on the inaugural coaches committee. I love LSU baseball and miss it until I hear that egotistical yap of Chris Guillot and that shite eating grin on his face when he screeches out...Goooo.

Anderson was the most dominant defensive player I ever saw play at LSU or any other school. Such a shame about his knee as he missed his entire junior year. Bevan Tomlinson and Anderson best three linebackers I ever saw in purple and gold.

Despite a good record, he underachieved with the talent he had and should have won another NC. He lost his team in New Orleans and never got them back and the result was a mass defection last year.

I watched every game at LSU when he played and do not remember him having that many turnovers. I remember him being triple teamed and dribbling through all of them lots of times.
His passing was amazing but his teammates knew when to expect them....

This is the losers tournament and we need to concentrate on getting to the big dance. LSU seems very tired and played a bit over its head for a while but not so hot right now.
I have never like the NIT and glad we are not going. Need to set the sights on winning the SEC and going to NCAA.
