| Tiger Rant|| re: Miles and Finebaum - PacWilly on 8/11/14 at 8:16 am|
While unscheduled, Miles had his reasons for stopping by Finebaum's book signing. Like him or not, Finebaum is now a mouthpiece for the SEC network. There's nothing wrong with slapping a few backs with the political media.

| Tiger Rant|| re: Are there enough scores on the adboard in TS? - PacWilly on 4/8/14 at 1:08 pm|
Yes. Occasionally during pregame they will show a video where they go "full screen " and it's like night and day. You suddenly realize just how much of the screen is being used like a static billboard rather than a video screen. It's actually plenty large enough and looks great.
| Tiger Rant|| re: Are there enough scores on the adboard in TS? - PacWilly on 4/8/14 at 10:23 am|
Real question: Without making physical upgrades, can the portion of the board that includes the coke, verizon, capital one and mcdonald's ads display live video feed? OR is it static?

Sure, as long as you also bring along a flatbed and forklift. Those shipping containers are pretty heavy. Definitely not convenient. Better off to build this on the back of a sturdy 16-foot trailer....
God forbid the head coach, who just happens to be an o-lineman himself, take over OL drills. Where do you people dream this crap up?
First, I didn't dream it; I saw it several times on practice videos. I can only dream of the times he took over OL drills that I was not able to wi...

LSU will rush the ball 40 times a game next year and pass about 25.
Day 1 will look something like this...Magee (15), Hilliard (10), Fournette (10), Team (5)
By season's end, it will look like this...Magee (15), Fournette (15), Hilliard (5), Team (5)

ding, ding, ding...No one uses a fullback better than Miles. It's part of LSU's identity and it's very effective. LSU should have it's pick of the litter on fullbacks. ...
| Tiger Rant|| re: Ultimate Jeremy Hill Highlights - PacWilly on 2/19/14 at 8:11 am|
Hill will be missed. I expect a drop off at RB. Magee and a young Fournette will be good, but Hill was power and a home run threat every time he got the ball. It will take Fournette some time to get to beast mode.
I'm hoping improved OL play will offset the temporary drop in RB play so that ove...
| Tiger Rant|| re: Ncaa proposed rule change for no huddle - PacWilly on 2/13/14 at 12:16 pm|
I don't have a problem with this. The primary point of the rule is defensive substitutions - not the time and total plays. Because of the increase number of plays (generally), the defense should be able to substitute if they want to regardless of what the offense does. Nowadays, the offense can ho...

| LSU Recruiting Board|| re: UCLA has a LOT of guys outstanding - PacWilly on 2/3/14 at 1:20 pm|
I would never second guess a recruits decision to attend UCLA or any other school if his reasons are "the football program" in general, academics, location, etc. However, I think it is foolish for a recruit to choose a school solely because of a coach (e.g., Jim Mora Jr.).
In the end, that recr...

That's a bandwagoner. I consider myself a bandwagoner and I watch more than you.

| New Orleans Saints Talk|| re: Jimmy Graham "not too keen" on being franchise tagged - PacWilly on 1/26/14 at 9:17 am|
Agree with OP. It's business. And the guy disappears in big games. In fact, the coaches call for formations that do not include him many times in big games. He's not irreplaceable. In reality, Saints would be better with a true #1 WR. We Need speed.
Tag him and take your chances next yr. ...
